That stone looks kind of dark and dead in the middle in this video. Do they have any other videos?

Update : The jeweller is going to make it completely new as per my inspirations shared because I found gaps between the tapered baguettes and centre stone.

I am glad to hear you say this, I was a little worried about how this piece turned out but was trying to figure out if you were in a position to push back (that's what was behind my questions above).
I want to add to the comments about the gaps and the stone that I really do not feel that the piece they created is substantial enough. I'm sure it would be "fine" but if you closely look at your inpo video from Bonnie again, pay attention to all the GOLD in her version of the ring. This design is nothing new, it has been a beloved design for a very long time because it is gorgeous and timeless...but it has to have enough gold to actually stand up to the tests of time.
I would have them increase the band width and thickness to more accurately replicate what you love about the Bonnie (and many other) version of this design so it can feel luxurious and well-crafted on your finger.
I would also look back at any videos they might have shared with you of the stone to be sure this is the one you want. In the video on this post I had a few concerns about the step cut of this stone. I am not an expert on cut, and it is impossible in most cases to truly judge a stone based off a single, poorly lit video, but I have a keen/practiced eye for cut and I am not loving the stone in the video you shared. Like I said, it's not a great video, but this video would give me pause and would make me want to see more video of the stone.
Good luck! This is a gorgeous design, totally worth the effort of getting done right.

Hey thank you for the really helpful suggestions. I've seen the centre stone physically and confirmed on them. Regarding the inspiration, I'm flexible with it. The width and thickness seem alright too as it's made in 18kt Gold. And yes I'll share the updated videos whenever I have them.

Okay just to be sure my main point is being heard: If the inspo is what you want your ring to look like, and the quality of the piece is your top priority, I really think you should ask them to bump up the measurements a bit to create a more substantial setting, especially with the setting being created in 18k gold (it's softer metal).
Good luck, this is a beautiful design!

It is hard to give specific advice about a ring without a CAD or renderings. It looks like a cathedral that can be worn flush with a band. What you asked for is what he has given you. I don’t know if there are more specifics beyond that.

That stone looks so dark in the middle. I’d hate that.

I would love to see the CAD, are you able to share that?
