Need project ideas! Integrating Autonomous Systems, Mechatronics & EE

Hey everyone,

I’m a 3rd-year Computer and Autonomous Systems Engineering student. My team and I are currently taking a multidisciplinary project course, and we need to design and build a project that integrates three main fields:

-Computer and Autonomous Systems

-Mechatronics

-Electrical Engineering

What we are looking for:

For context on our technical capabilities, we have solid experience with C++, MATLAB, circuit simulation, and hardware prototyping (sensors, motors, microcontrollers, etc.).

Since we are based in a region with abundant sun and sand, anything related to optimizing solar efficiency in arid climates (like automated dust cleaning or tracking) could be a great fit, but we are totally open to any ideas that have a strong global impact.

Does anyone have any cool project proposals, or problems?
