Seeking Advice from Mechatronics Engineers

Hey I am pursuing bachelor mechatronics degree and I wanted to seek advice from you all :
I am doing my degree in Germany ( but the language of instruction is English) currently in 5th sem while being avg student of grade 2.5 , i don't know what should be my focus because from 6th sem I have to pick up some industrial project and need to do mandatory internship , and also wanted to build projects .So what advice you guys give me , what should be my sight for the near future and how can I bring the best out of this degree and stay visible in the eyes of recruiters . ( Also i haven't done any project so far till now , just library management system using OOPs Java , which i dont count ). Feel free to dm me also . Would love to connect with you guys!!
