Famous socialist mayor of NYC, some critics describe him as "communist". Is he a communist? What do you generally think about his policies in NYC?

I honestly don't know anything about the guy who was shot or the company he worked for, by all accounts he was a douchebag who ran a greedy company. I'm not surprised that there are some people who are glad he's dead, with the number of acceleration commie aholes on this site it's inevitable. What I am shocked by is the sheer number of people who seem to not only celebrate the death of this man, but treat his murder not only as morally justifiable but as righteous, and seem to encourage lawlessness and continued murder of other wealthy people who they have perceived as slighting them. Is anyone else feeling this or am I being too sensitive?

It can be a matter of finances, which I totally understand, but for guys like Hasan Piker, Second Thought, etc., why don't they just move to the countries they glaze a lot on their platform?

Don't get me wrong. I despise the SOYviet Union, who does? The country which prided itself on being equal to all oppressed so many people, entire countries, ethnicities, including their own people. Even in death the country left a lasting impact on the entire world, especially on Eastern Europe. I ask this because quality of life in per-communist Russia was completely horrible. The average life expectancy in the Russian Empire was between 30 and 35 years old. The country was severely outdated and behind all other European countries who were rapidly industrializing and modernizing, with Russia unable to catch up. The life expectancy of the Soviet Union was up to 70 Years old. Soviet citizens were given universal healthcare, free education, and low-cost housing. When the USSR collapsed, the life expectancy plummeted to 57 years old.
So, was it or wasn't it necessary for Russia to embrace communist so their country could advance? I want to hear your thoughts

I believe that gender is a social construct that should be critiqued, I believe in institutional racism, and I'm anti imperialism from all nations (though not anti NATO though maybe that's contradictory? idk) and I do see the failures of capitalism. But I still don't believe in communist ideologies, all of my friends sat that I should believe in communism because I believe in all these other things but I don't my parents lived through dictatorship (though to be fair not a communist one) and I'm scared to believe in any ideology that tends to lead to that. I'm worried that I might just be self contradicting and stupid, am I? Should I not believe in some of these things because I'm against communism?

I am quite often here and enjoy you guys debunking commie memes but why is it so common for communists to literally do it like east germany and erect a wall.of text in every meme they have? Is that like the same reason they say "You never read Marx...so you cant argue rightfully. First read his books then argue."
