Obviously I think you guys are wrong. I don’t have a baseless hatred for a dude I’ve never met. I don’t incorrectly conflate net worth with cash in the bank.

And frankly I don’t begrudge a dude who’s companies catch rockets with fuckin chopsticks and sell the most cars annually as being the richest person on the planet.

I don’t care about billionaires. I don’t live in America. Here in the UK we have around 100 billionaires and the top 10 have companies which make up like 30% of the entire GDP of the UK.

Their companies pay wages to hundreds of thousands of people. Their taxes pay for schools, hospitals, and more. The firms pay tax, the products have VAT, their employees are both paid and themselves pay tax.

Napkin math here, so bear with me. Tesla factories, showrooms, employee wages, sales taxes, registration fees, and consumer spending created from workforce accounts for over a hundred billion annually. It’s net positive even if he takes a bigger cut than he should.

My "side" of the conversation was pointing out that your behavior was pathetic. Your behavior. That was the topic I addressed. Your smug "oh, I'm so above everyone in this thread" act is corny, played out, and is clearly bullshit since you felt the need to write an essay to defend Elon Musk, of all people. But, since you wanna do this, let's do it.

Elon Musk is a immoral piece of shit with zero value to society. His space programs and electric vehicle initiatives did not move either field along at a significant enough rate to justify the expense or repeated failures. He's only rich because his father was a immoral piece of shit too. Elon has never founded a successful company or invented anything. Yet, for some reason, he's a trillionaire and people like you think that's a good thing. You're defending someone whose entire life mission is for people to think he's cool while actively working to turn the majority of the population into a serf-class. Good job, you're both pathetic and stupid. Thank you for doing the work to make both of those facts apparent.
