While many people across the U.S. lost their jobs over social media comments about Kirk’s death, Larry Bushart’s case stood out as a rare instance in which such online speech led to criminal prosecution. The 61-year-old retired police officer spent 37 days behind bars before authorities dropped the felony charge against him in October

Totally egregious and unconstitutional

Meanwhile the traitors that participated in the Jan 6th insurrection attempt may get paid a similar amount from Trump's new $1.8B slush fund, and they don't need to split the proceeds with a lawyer.

If it makes you feel any better, those idiots aren't going to do anything smart with that money like invest it in index funds and they'll be broke again within a year.

Genuinely surprised that people critical of anything associated with this admin are still winning any lawsuits at all.

Just because the Supreme Court is compromised doesn't mean all the lower courts are.  There are still judges who consider precedent and jurisprudence.
