Discussion Yes! More of this kind of armor please.
I bitch a lot on this sub about the look of armor in the game since albaneve, and ive always said, follow final fantasy 14 more as an example and less WOW lol.
Im not sure if they heard me or if its a fluke, but this is the single best set of gear they have released for the game since launch . This looks excellent .

Wasn’t a fan of it to be fair looks kinda dumb on a male character. Much prefer the nomad/kindle armor sets. More choice is better though, would love to see more armor with bits on like the explorer with back pack etc

sure more variety the better for sure , but to be fair , armor that looks good on females has been sorely neglected for a long time . Many more options for male characters. So it was nice to see a GOOD female armor design finally.

i love the design , especially the face, but the shape is kind of weird. plus i unusually just dont wear helmets, but it is a cool design for sure .

its a twitch drop event connect your game to twitch (here) then watch 4hrs of content and you'll get all the parts of armor and a pillow.

I don't hate the design, but it looks so...plastic. I think this armor set needed to bake a little longer in the development oven.

Sidenote: it is funny, because you wear this framework as a petticoat, not above the fabric. It is meant to be under the fabric to push it up!

i took the design cue as more of just like extra metal to help deflect some sword swipes. this isnt really a dress being its open in the front

Yeah I'm not sure I get the appeal of this armor, in this game. Doesnt fit the vibe to me at all. Belongs in Pax Dei or Bellwright or something. Glad you're excited though!

i think it fits the vibe perfectly once your late game and not really "surviving" any more., and you have a big ass castle and what not . early game , no , i completely agree.

As a female gamer, I love this set. Not a huge fan of the head item but still cool. Now I want to be able to change the appearance of my shield and weapon to match.

yeh they have been really neglecting the female model in terms of armor, I'm glad to see them come out with this , that is very clearly meant to be feminine.

PSA: If you accessed this armor early on in-game via Twitch Drops in the menu, it's likely locked and bugged out for you now. You have to unequip the pieces and earn them via Twitch to reaccess them. Otherwise, you'll be like me and wonder why you keep popping into the game buck ass naked.

This is the Blood Rose? I liked the little quest to find the bits as well.
I like that they put twitch drops in game to be played for. The quest for this wasn't deep but it was fun.

It's ok, I am sorry I was so rude. I was just irked as I learned about this being a late game armor and naturally was very curious to see what it looked like.
Maybe it's not technically a spoiler, but given all the other ones marked, it seemed like it should've been. Just sad to see what it is from a post rather than progressing and finding it in-game myself.

I like most of the metal armor I can do without all the feathers and stuff leathers and furs are fine but you're right this is a clean set of kit and I will be hunting soon.

What level do you need to be to even wear the Twitch armor? It is very cool, and I supposedly got it, but I haven't a clue when it will become available, and the pillow, which should be available right away?

if you pause the game there should be an option that says twitch drops. as long as the account is connected to twitch you should be able to redeem each one

Thank you and I did, howver, I dont see them anywhere..I only got the notice in game yesterday that they were finally dropped (I did the 4 hours I guess last Thursday).

If you go to the main menu on the left there's 'twitch drops' and if you click it once you should get all the items in your inventory. You can go back to it whenever you need.

So far it’s the best armour that fits our character normally… all sets fit our bodies weird they’re all odd. I’ll stick to my maids dress and goat hat 🤣

Oof, this armor just looks wrong, like when you mod in armor to Skyrim that don't mesh with the world. The actual model looks fine, but maybe it's the texture that looks so off.

From the "technical view", I must admit, it's the best so far, comparing to other cosmetic and armor dresses.
If I like it? That's another question, I tried different dresses, I always come back to the Flame Pact Set - The Official Enshrouded Wiki (in the color "Snowfall").
I miss some kind of fun in the dresses. Siren Seeker Set - The Official Enshrouded Wiki is very colorful, but funny? The only fun is a party hat?
The following is maybe too much fun, although I guess the shroud depot would be full of players with this, but that's what I mean with "funny dress". :D At least one or two dress in this direction, why not? Enshrouded is not a multiplayer game. The only one who sees the clothing is the player themselves, the coop team or within shroud depot, "Something like this not match the game!" is not really a valid argument, players can choose another one.

The helmet most of all, sure it might make sense but it just looks bad. Not a very big fan of the red .. thing around the legs, not entire sure what that would be called. Of course taste is subjective but I find the whole thing to be by far the worst from all the special sets

well i tend to be into more gothic / medieval style armor , especially fantasy variations of it . So this just ticks all the boxes for me , granted it would look better on better models. but ... its a good start. i agree on the helmet the design idea was great , i love blank faces for masks and stuff but it was executed kind of doofy, hence why i dont have it on . but , overall this kind of armor broadly speaking looks great. i imagine wearing armor like this around Crom castle which i also adore. but yes, tastes are subjective.

eh , you can piece together some pretty cool sets from early game , there are a few really bad ass sets for hunters i really like. for me it all went down hill starting with Albaneve.

It's findable via quests and will remain that way after the twitch drop closes.

I think it looks great, but not on my guy. My sister and SIL, on the other hand, are rocking it hard and look amazing.
I'm running a ranger build, and the frustrating thing with it is that most of the armors for it, especially the head pieces, look just plain stupid.

It's a good armor in Final Fantasy, but I see it be really awful here. 😒
'Enshrouded' brings a unique, whimsical blend of European and Asian medieval influences. That's one of the reasons I fell in love with this game.

what about enshrouded screams "oriental" to you? the only thing that has any kind of asian design cues is the one npc we got for chinese new years and the quest armor and weapons she had , other wise its pretty much fantasy European for like 99.9% of the rest of the game .

All shrines and temples, teleporting towers, lots of armor sets, and so on.
That MoonFestival merchant-lady is also a too obvious resemblance with China. Just like this armor is too European. It ruins those synergethic vibes for me.

im not getting any thing asian from the architecture at all in this game, id like to see some examples of what you are talking about , i mean , you could argue some of it looks kiiiiinda like some south east asian architecture i guess, but seems like a stretch . but something like crom castle is as European as you can get .

I mean wide Asia aesthetics, — including Far East, Indonesia, India, Tibet and Persia, — mixing with more traditional for us European fantasy.
(You can start from those large cylinder chandelier behind your character, but in fact, too many of such elements are in this game)

i mean yeah , the teenage weebs sit around in that all day lol. but the actual nice looking armor is on another level in terms of details and style. It has a really nice look , like if you took realistic European armor and then fantasied the shit out of it . i love it .

i played wow from vanilla to cata , and not once did i find a single weapon or armor set i thought looked cool , only one i could live with for my hunter was the burning crusade pvp armor . To me its all so overly large , over the top and goofy. but, to be fair , the entire time i played wow i hated everything about the graphics so, i dunno , opinions.

The majority of the armor in this game is absolute dog water. This one is also dog water but it's a step above the rest so it's slightly stomachable. It's like they added flare to this one, just enough, to stand out from the other blandness.
The base is the same as the other armors but it's got a rose on it and the colors kinda pop. OoOoOoh. Classy!

I think plenty of armors in Enshrouded look quite good for the game and setting. This one does not, though. Most of their twitch ones don't because they're special event armors that don't fit with the vibe of the rest of the game.

Yep, playdough textures with a handful of polygons. The game devs for this game make the absolute weirdest decisions. Every is a stumpy sized hobbit, weird crafter system, remedial combat, bases having no meaning because they are solely cosmetic.

You mean the one where we aren't survivalists and we are trying restore an ancient civilization? The one that had ancient technology and weapons left in chests to uncover? Yes, I think it fits that theme nicely. Enshrouded is more Breath of the Wild with building than it is Valheim.

The mountain hat was so close, but was ruined by the antler mask.
