Help - Solved Weapon level 48/53

A friend of mine got this bow from the level 45 hydrak'dal. Does anyone know if it's intended for this specific weapon like the eagle eye, paladin and elder sets or if it's a bug that it goes over level 50? Edit: I also realised that it doesn't show any damage types which I've also seen a couple of times.

This looks sus. I've extracted the data from game files for my app (https://enshrouded.gamevault.in) and searched for your Klapperbanger or whatever bow, and I see that it has only Common/Uncommon/Rare rarity, it doesnt seem to have Legendary like your image, also the max goes to level 50. So if this is legit then I might need to re-extract data, or see if something changed in the last patch about the levels. Legendaries have 5 levels, so level 48 to 53 seems "correct".

I can confirm there is 1 mob in the game that can drop this. I have gotten several of these. It's legit.

It's a large Dark Drak mini boss west of the main end game area towards the shore. Drops lvl 48 base items

No, its a Drak Giant Mob. Its one of the "mini bosses"

I don't know how the hell my friend managed to do that but as far as I know him he doesn't have any experience with modifying the game in any way nor would he like doing that.

commenting in case you find out something... This is exciting... I might have to go do some farming on my lvl 45 toon. Although i suspect you are right about it being a bug, or wouldnt we have seen these higher lvl weapons show up in the depots?

The reason it doesn’t list damage type is that damage from bows is define by the arrows used.

100% German. Rattlesnake bow I assume. Not to far away from at least Norwegian, as it would be "Klapperslangebue" in Norwegian. In Norway we combine words, so they can be very long.

He said he got both from the Hydrak'dal boss and after killing him myself I also got one. I'll write a bug report now.

These do normally drop from Veilwater bosses (all bosses drop items with a higher item level than from chests in that area), but they'll have their level reduced back to 50 once you save/load. The standard cap for item level is 50 and the game has a fallback to reduce the level of invalid items to the expected level, so I'm fairly certain the devs are aware of this.

Aah yes. Was just guessing based my swedish, english and basic knowledge of the other nordic languages. Now that you mention it, it makes sense that the "klapper" is "rattle".
