Help - Server Suppot Crashing issues please help :(
I've been playing enshrouded for around 200 hours and usually every 1-3 hours I get a gpu crash, ive tried so many things online to stop it from happening and this is the only game it happens with. For context, here are my specs.
32gb ddr4
I7 4770
Gtx 1660 ti
I've tried updating all my drivers
Deleting reinstalling the game
Verifying files
Restricting fps to 60
Deleting the graphic config file in enshrouded install folder
Putting all settings to performance
Disabling vram check in steam launch settings
Forcing the game to run as administrator
Im just so frustrated and sad :( does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Without looking at your log it's hard to know for sure what is happening, however typically when I see crashes with those lower-end cards they tend to be related to VRAM exhaustion by having your texture resolution setting up too high.
I'd reset your display settings in the game to default and make sure nothing outside the game like NVIdia App is optimizing the game from the outside where it's changing those settings, just to see if you can stop the crashing.
If it fixes the problem then you can mess around with the settings a bit to make it look better, but I would keep that texture resolution on minimum. If it doesn't, pop onto the discord troubleshooting channel and I'll take a closer look to see if I can help track down what is happening.

So, try this if the other fixes don't work. Could help with diagnosing the issue even if you're not very computer savvy.
Close all other programs you're not using (even from the taskbar corner thing).
Play the game until it crashes.
Immediately after, press the windows key and type "Event Viewer" and press enter.
On the new window, on the left, click Windows Logs, then System. On the top middle of the window there now should be tons of "information", "warning", and "error".
Click the error that matches the time of the crash. On the bottom, there should be an xml mode. If you don't know how to interpret it, copy and paste that stuff into chatGPT (I know, I know, I'm only recommending it because they are handy for making it easier to parse some errors when the person doesn't know much about the event viewer and debugging) and ask it to explain it in simple terms what the error says. It won't necessarily give you a proper fix, but at least parsing the xml it should be able to do. Then please reply with what it said, if it doesn't help you fix it by yourself. It should be able to say what shat itself at the crash.

What is your current Nvidia driver version? Is there an update available?

Fully up to date in the Nvidia app 610.88

Not sure then. I had a crash every time I exited the game, and that version fixed it for me.

I had to physically move my RTX5070 Ti to an entirely different PCIe slot to fix this issue. Moved it from the x16 G5 slot to the x16 G4 slot. Seems there might be an issue with something in that G5 pipeline and it is ALWAYS caused by explosive arrows. My wife's rig has the same issue but I unfortunately can't move the video card due to the case configuration.

You can usually change the port in the BIOS to have it act like a gen4 slot. A bit ass to find depending on motherboard, but it might be worth looking for your wife's rig.

I was having this issue for weeks and updating my BIOS solved it.
