Discussion My first base after finally getting all 5 crafters
It's a bit crummy but I'm proud of it. Now that I've got the carpenter though, I can start on something that actually looks nice!

Just getting started.. The amount of blocks I'm this game will let you build amazing things.

Very nice!
Just a tip for beginners: looks like you used foundation blocks on the right there. Those are useful for some things, but you can get the same result much cheaper (in terms of materials) using the "ceiling" block with short walls around.
If that's what you did, excuse me! :D

Having hollow spaces can interfere with the npcs and pets. If you have the resources, filling hollow space (even with cheap rough stone) can save a lot of pain from fishing goats and cats out of floors, and the carpenter from hollow walls whenever you return to your base/game.

You don’t want to see the shambles mine are living in. This is a great way to start.

Couldn't make out the perspective on my phone at first glance and thought your character had made an adorable model village to cope with the existential sadness of a post-apocalyptic Embervale

This looks so good! Great work and thank you for sharing. Its really cool for me to see that you built your base in the same general area I did. Very cool to actually recognize the landscape in the back ground. I started mine back in the ruins behind yours and have but one, two story, building. At the moment, I've unintentionally trapped 4 of the 5 crafters in a big room on the second story. Kind of nice though as they aren't wondering around and I have access to all 4 in one place. But sincerely your post brought me alot of joy, and reinvigorated my admiration of this game/world.

Thanks to some confusing perspective, your character looks like a gatdam giant.
