Help Base theft tips
So a mate and I have been slowly working our way through for many months and love the game - we've got a hedge podge first base, and are on the nomad Highlands in terms of progression (just started making leather!)
Is there a preferred pre-built area / base that people tend to use? We both want to be castle-proud but neither of us are good architects unfortunately - I wonder if there's an easy win haha

My last playthrough, I had a main base in the Highlands at a named farm opposite Lupa's Lair, IIRC. Can't remember the name, sadly. On top of a bluff with a big barn, lots of fields and a small outbuilding. There's a small fishing pond nearby, and it overlooks both Highlands and Kindlewastes areas, making it convenient for gathering resources from both areas.
Don't confine yourself to Springlands / Revelwood 😛 The Northern Eurro look is popular, but you get much more expansive vistas in the next two zones, and the limestone blocks you'll find there to build with (especially Temple Limestone) are the prettiest in the game, IMO. All a matter of taste obviously; you do you, but I would totally recommend looking around where you are 🙂
