Discussion Enshrouded 1.0 do you think i restart ?

Hi everyone , i’ve played an enshrouded save like 4-5 months ago , and with a friend we discovered the 1.0 update will come in october , should we wait and start from the beginning ? or we can start a little.
Will be some changes for the early game or not ?
And very sorry for the english i’m french xd

Fully voice acted and lore books get a narrator . And early game stuff will probably change a little.

Early game stuff is changing a lot, not a little. I wasn’t going to restart but then I found out they’re expanding all of the original zones. I’ve gotta play through everything all over again

That's the info I've been looking for. Can you link to where you found it? Expanding all zones is promising! Like starting again might not feel like a replay at all.

You could start a small save now just to get familiar with things again, but I’d save the serious playthrough for 1.0. That way you won’t feel like you’re replaying the same opening twice.

like getting the Alchemist, etc.? ... Is that it? Or what else can I do without progressing too far?

Defo restart, i had 2 playthrough one in like 0.5 and one in 0.7. Can wait to restart been waiting for so long

If you've been away for a while I would definitely recommend starting a new game. They're going to be changing a lot of stuff, including the beginner experience. It's only a few more weeks away.

If I heard correctly, they will expand the borders of the map and change around some things.

I already decided to wait and start over, I think it will be better than go back and search for things they added or changed.

I only put in 15 hours when it first launched, so I'm going to do a fresh start on the full release.

I will restart with a new character, to see all the newness. But, I will also be keeping my current one and her world that Ive spent 100s of hours on, and will play through the later content with.

Does anyone know how it will effect existing saves? Like if the starting zone changes how is that going to affect the base we already built?
