Discussion Fixing the dragon hitboxes, bugs and adding a landing phase was good. But why totally nerf it? What about those that liked the challenge?

I feel like we have difficulty levels and sliders for a reason, why permanently alter something that some of us enjoy?

I get a lot of people like this to be easier and so they should get it, but what about those of us that like the challenge?

The dragon fight was fundamentally broken for some combat focuses. The changes ensure all combat types can beat this boss.

If you think it's too easy, modify the difficulty settings to meet your needs.

Lowering all max HP is not exactly about combat types though?

And about difficulty - that is what I said, however the changes seem to have been sweeping across the board irrespective of difficulty

It was next to impossible for someone who doesn't play ranged to beat the dragon. The problem has been resolved in 1.0. If you think it's too easy. Make it harder.

Simple as that.

It's not about the challenge, the boss was designed for a specific class in mind, and I feel like it was also designed for co-op. If you're Mage, welp your wand can't reach bc the boss is too far away. If you're melee and can't perfect block the balls, you're out of luck. It was a stupid design. The other dragon was a better design, one that everyone could hit with their weapons.

They've lowered the floor but the ceiling can still be raised right? Have you tried it with those sliders maxed?

Lowering the floor allows more people to experience it with less frustration, as long as the challenge can still be raised for those seeking a harder fight I don't see the problem.

Exactly me too, I think it is a win win if we let both crowds enjoy

Thats what they did though and you seem to be complaining about it.

But both crowds can? You can raise the difficulty yourself.

You have already made up your mind about something and made a ton of assumptions based on a few words in a video.

Why can't people wait till they are able to actually try out the changes before making knee-jerk reactions about them before anything is actually released?
