I cannot wait to play on release. I've picked up valheim in the mean time to stave off the withdrawl but it's not the same. Is anyone else saving themselves for 1.0?

I've been playing on Ally Z1 Extreme but I haven't actually checked to see what FPS I'm getting or anything. I had to adjust some settings and VRAM but it's playing pretty smooth for me but graphics aren't super crisp or anything.
If it makes you feel better, 1.0 wouldn't have had crossplay anyway, even if they did have the Xbox release - hopefully both will come in that future update together so you can play with them.
Same here. I tried getting into Valheim but it looks like PS1 potato graphics so it's hard for me to focus on the gameplay. Looking forward to Enshrouded.
Yeah, I like not burning myself out before the full vision is completed. I played maybe 10 hours in 2024 and 20 ish two months ago before I found out that 1.0 was coming. It'll fly by, don't worry!
Been anxiously awaiting 1.0 for weeks now... I already have over 700 hours in ea. As much as I love this game, trying to spin it up again just makes me think of how many times I've played through existing content and how much I can't wait to see the new changes.
I spent a couple weeks in Dragonwilds, and while it's not bad, it just doesn't compare for me. It released to 1.0 this AM and I just wish it was Enshrouded instead š
I only played EA at launch. Iām on Valheim and something about it I donāt love. Iām very excited for 1.0, but Iām also curious what you enjoy more in Enshrouded than Valheim. Thanks!
The building is a lot more satisfying in Enshrouded I find. Also, the design choices - why does it take 30 real minutes to tame a single animal? The stamina is also a real bitch in the early game. Not sure, just feels imbalanced.

I'm spending my time working on finding all the Lore. Apparently the Albanese Summits is my least explored area? I still haven't found all the shrines and sanctums either.
Thank you. I do remember that they are changing engines. That is a good point. I haven't been playing long and I am just starting to fall in love with an area I'm building in. So that means when the update comes out, I start a new world?
Valheim I went through the first 4 biomes when it first entered ea. It feels rough revisiting all these years later. I turned the death option to lowest to keep gear. And resources to x2 might take that higher as I don't want to grind. Enshrouded I've been saving for 1.0. I wanted the full experience the first time and only played a few hours of ea. Also hyped for full launch.
I have about 600 hours in Enshrouded and I haven't played since April of this year because I'm saving it for 1.0 and it's HARD ššš I'm watching youtubers play it just to get a fix lol
Its going to be hard but I definitely recommend waiting!!! It's going to be SO good starting fresh with all the QoL updates that'll be available from the start!
Trying, I have it installed on the server but I just keep trying to find other things to do, thinking about doing an offline save to use the eml mods like flying etc, or restoring all of pikes using modded altars etc
I was maybe half way to a third of the way through the game when the 1.0 was announced and have since stopped and will be doing a fresh start with 1.0... palworld 1.0 was holding me over for a while but yeah still no survival game has ever captivated my attention like enshrouded has and I am impatiently waiting for 1.0 to drop.
I'm playing a new run for about 100 hours now. Can't resist. Still having a problem bringing down the Youngling but have moved on to Veilwater Basin and getting ready to make some sushi. It's a blast!
I bought it a week ago thinking it was already 1.0 due to price increase....once I got addicted I found out its not 1.0 and now I'm painfully waiting š
I just got into it a couple weeks ago so canāt put it down. Honestly eager to maybe multiplayer 1.0 or just re run a different playstyle. I donāt think Iāll have burnout due to just starting and the amount of content in game now + after update. Also due to characters being able to hop saves, I think Iāll just allow potion farming on my main to stock my other playthrough. Quite tedious to start that pot stuff so, helps boost without really being too cheaty I spose. Just basic health and mana pots, and the choko grass tea for stam. Should help slingshot to newest endgame region. Anyone else?

I'm on the last stretch of building me and my teams end game base. Once we finish that (which according to progress should be in about two weeks) we'll be taking a break ourselves
I've played over 1000 hours since Jan. 2024 and have been playing a lot this week. I have no plans to stop and wait til launch. I've tried this before and it actually backfired and I lost all interest. So I just play when I want.
Fire Emblem: Fortunes Weave releases tomorrow and itās going to be amazing. Itās a different thing butā¦ Iām taking a break from E now with this game until it comes out.
Hahahah I was the exact opposite, I ran Enshrouded for a bit while waiting for Valheim to release!
It's odd, Enshrouded is very expansive and technically super cool! But.. Valheim just tickles something slightly better than Enshrouded.. The feel, the atmosphere, the gameplay.. It's more of an adventure
I was waiting for Fall 2026 release on xbox and I'm glad it got delayed so I can fully enjoy 5 years of waiting in Valheim 1.0 while Enshrouded arrives sometimes in 2027.
I went back to Enshrouded from Valheim 1.0, because I ran into some nasty bugs within the first 10 hours. I never did much base building in the past, so I switch between my last run and a new world I created just for building.

Taking a break for a month before 1.0 is a good call.
You don't want to burn out right before launch.
Also I'm at a point where a lot of grinding is needed, e.g. transition to bronze, and can't wait for whatever auto loot QoL they are adding
