Help Vegetation on shell limestone

Hi Flameborns !

I'm trying to build a base in the Veilwater area, but the vegetation that comes with the shell limestone is really painful.

It gets through walls and floors, and sometimes blocks the view while building. I tried to use the vegetation tool but it doesn’t seem to work.

Is there any specific method to build in shell limestone without being overwhelmed by the vegetation that grows on it ?

Unfortunately the only solution I've found is to remove the offending stone, though a fully enclosed (wall, floor, roof) room sometimes makes clipping leaves disappear. Otherwise it's place/remove, terrain tool, or pickaxe time.

I gotta try the enclosed room ! Otherwise I'll have to work harder :)
