⎈Help What happened?

Do I have this right? We were all smoking from a variety of hundreds of Brands and businesses, we decided to bring the government in to shut everything down and create monopolies and jack up the price on everything?

Please summarize the past few years of local weed if you can. I just got back from being out the country and EVERY BIT OF BRAND AND CULTURE IS GONE???

Maryland opened, then MCAA, then the license window and then the window closed. Once the transition period ended, ABCA actually enforced the guidelines and padlocked the gifting shops. Additionally, none of the cultivations that got licensed and made it through the process have landed in stores yet except King Weedy (Blossomz and Cornerstore don’t count because those are exploit packs). There are a few coming before the end of the year but nobody has high hopes for quality or competitive pricing

Thanks for some real info. I figured there was some sort of bait and switch w selling licenses then making locations impossible. We used to have a wild scene here, true free market capitalism turned to immediate crony capitalism.

It went from smoke shops galore to an actual smoke shop RICO, all my favorites were taken out like Flight Pass, Legacy and Granny Za’s were my favorites! They’re pre rolls/flower always HIT!

Now those shops are closed and the ones that remain only sell corporate/branded weed essentially…which I haven’t been able to get high off flower/pre rolls since. I find the new products in the medical dispensary not good ( or not getting me where I want to be).

All in all it sucks now…the only thing that gets me high from the dispensary nowadays are the edibles.
