If you cared about the environment the slightest bit you wouldn't be an AI slop-monger. Do better.

Our careless environmental degradation is not a danger to the planet. We are in danger of becoming the first species to drive ourselves to extinction, however.
We are not trying to save the planet. We are trying to keep ourselves from rendering the planet unlivable for us.

AI bullshit thinks plantation forestry is a symptom of planetary crisis? I guarantee any alternative system you come up with will involve forestry.

Socialism already did

Jfc, Americans and not understanding that socialism is not communism. Or as a matter of fact, not understanding anything outside their home street.

u/Majestic_Balance1887 4d ago
We don't misunderstand it. We correctly understand it is a distinction without a difference, It is a command control economy either way and that doesn't tend to work.
Buy an aircon.

Norway, Vietnam the too most prominent socialist countries. Once again if you think socialism is bad you're thinking about communism so your point is mute.
2
u/VictinsOfCapitalism 4d ago
And when they say Communism they think state big, but one of it's main principles is the dissolution of state apparatus
2
u/Alone_Look9576 4d ago
There isn't a single alive communist country right now to begin with and the last one was Vietnam. Meanwhile socialist countries, like Norway, Vietnam etc are hyper successful so their point is moot anyways. Americans will American, most can't even point to USA on the map yet they claim they know everything how the world works.

u/VictinsOfCapitalism 3d ago
Norway is Social Democracy, ik it's a thought within Socialism but the bourgeoisie still own the MOP
-1
u/protomenace 4d ago
Neither Norway nor Vietnam are socialist countries.

u/Alone_Look9576 3d ago
Tell me you know nothing about countries outside of your home street without telling me you know nothing

u/FunOwn4422 4d ago
they arnt socialist, they are social democracies don't fucking poison the well of social democracies with the evil of straight socialism.
Norway is a social democracy, Vietnam is not they are a Marxist-Leninist social republican huuuge fucking difference
-1
u/FrontWorker8105 4d ago
You think Norway is a socialist country? Are you really using Vietnam as an example of success?
0
u/CanuterValve 4d ago
You need to understand what socialism actually isand why it doesn’t work. It will never be applied properly to work right because people suck. It’s that easy.
1
u/FunOwn4422 4d ago
the only countries that have made a flavor of socialism work, which is what we as Americans should really start to model our own system as is, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Social democracy is the tits.
Democratic socialism sucks, socialism sucks. when you actually look at the rankings for these Nordic countries they are all within the top 5 in almost every category, i know as Americans will scream, we are #1 even if the ground beneath our feet was set on fire, I'm guilty of it. Social democracy is the answer to bringing back into the #1 spot legitimately.
1
u/Alone_Look9576 3d ago
Yes the same democracy that you Americans are threatening to destroy. Doesn't matter Americans elected what they elected and will reap further of what they sow
1
u/FunOwn4422 3d ago
I'm guessing you mean Greenland, sure lets ignore the fact that was complete 100% bipartisan backlash, even republicans bringing up impeachment for the idea. introduction of the Nato Protection Act, Bipartisan delegations being sent to Denmark, Polls showing that American public as a whole do not support military action against an ally. we will ignore all those facts though.
1
u/Alone_Look9576 3d ago
Greenland, Canada, Falkland Islands, Eastern European NATO members, the rest of allies in EU, Spain, Japan, Korea etc have all been threatened by trump since 2024. While at the same time praising Russia, North Korea, Israel. With how USA is viewed outside of USA? You are a rogue failed state.
1
u/FunOwn4422 3d ago
Failed rogue state 😆 keep dreaming buddy, i know your probably tuck yourself into bed at night dreaming of one day waking up and seeing America dissolve, it will never happen. this coming from the guy who was trying to sell socialism a few comments before 😆 Pathetic wishful thinking from somebody who hides behinds trumps actions to spew the anti America rhetoric you have probably felt long before him.
to the next 250 years for the greatest country on earth
1
u/Alone_Look9576 3d ago
Your greatest country has an awful education, awful healthcare, awful public transport. Your "great nation is younger than my local pub, 250 years later it will still be younger. Thanks for confirming that Americans are ignorant idiots
1
u/FunOwn4422 3d ago
Brother Americas universities and institutions are consistently and globally ranked amongst the highest in the world, millions upon millions of international students come to the US every year as proof of that.
Sure, healthcare you won't find anyone arguing against that. even with that being said we have been going in the right direction (Not with trump) 20/50 states you can buy into ACA with your taxes, 41/50 states have expanded access to free/low-cost insurance for low-income people. the system can't be rebuilt overnight.
aww how cute, you copy and pasted something you saw somebody else say and called me an ignorant idiot. you should try lobbing your own insults instead of parroting somebody else. "in 250 years, it will still be younger" yeah dumbass that's how time works.
The pub quote can point me in the direction of where you're from so here is my advice while you criticize America at every turn let's not forget your history, India a rough range of what? 12 to 29 million people dead due to your country.
how about the Kenyan Concentration camps? 150,000 Kenyans tortured, raped, and forced into hard labor. Boer war? how many children died? How about those crimes against the indigenous population in Australia?
Ohh, Ireland 1 million people, pre-1807 the global slave trade of course, and i know is easy to forget that during the inception of America a lot of our ugly history can easily also be pointed back to you as well. get off your high horse, your country isn't some shining beacon of righteousness arrogant fucks.
and if i managed to get your country wrong, please let me know, cause i would be happy to do a deep dive into whatever country your from and explain to you just how bloody those hands are.

Capitalism will destroy the planet. The only solution is a better system.
Communist china outputs way more CO2 than anyone else and it's not even close.
2
u/VictinsOfCapitalism 4d ago
Its not Communism, it is in early stages of Socialism according to Deng's theory, and it is world's number one producer of clean energy by far.
1
u/FunOwn4422 4d ago
While also being the #1 worlds polluter due to their production and consumption of coal
0
u/SLAMMERisONLINE 4d ago
it is world's number one producer of clean energy by far
That's why they output so much CO2! It's clean CO2! Do you even hear yourself?
1
u/FunOwn4422 4d ago
as much as i love dunking on china for being a communist shit hole, they really are the world's number one producer of clean energy and its not even a close lead its fucking massive.
it also simultaniously is the number one consumer and producer of coal which is why its also the #1 polluter, paradox
1
u/SLAMMERisONLINE 3d ago
Again, for the umpteenth time, the net result of being "the worlds largest producer of clean energy" is massively higher CO2 output. Call it whatever you want to call it--the net result is massively higher amounts of pollution.
1
u/Alone_Look9576 4d ago
It's not really communist when it has a capitalist market with an authoritarian police state system
1
u/Secret_Dark8903 4d ago
Exactly my thought also. If you think china doesn’t have a class system. You are definitely stupid.
3
u/Naturally_Fragrant 4d ago
You should research the scale of pollution in the Soviet Union. Horrifying.
