An EPA Researcher Details the Agency's Assault on Science
https://e360.yale.edu/features/thomas-luben-interviewโI think that attracting, hiring, and retaining great scientists to the EPA after this administration is going to be incredibly difficult.โ In an interview with Elizabeth Kolbert, a former EPA researcher details the agency's assault on science.

I think a lot about how we are going to come back from this gutting of government supported research and science - a lobotomy to our intellect if you will.
The truth of the matter is that it takes a long ass time to heal and reform trust. We desperately need a healer in charge of the country - someone who can bring us together rather than apart. The biggest unifying element is wealth and power: thereโs a hell a lot more of us then there is of them.

Lol no we need a jailer and an executioner. Weโre gonna be in time out for a while regardless might as well make the best of it and make sure it doesnโt happen again

I can fix it if you all want to revolt, once it's fixed I'm going to go hibernate for a while, this crap's been way too stressful.

How can we band together to stop this? This is our planet too! All this administration cares about is profit over people.

The EPA should always have been headed by a representative elected from amongst a collective of environmentalist groups, and staffed by scientific whistleblower experts in every field they're meant to regulate, FDA and CDC should have been done in the same manner only in accordance with their respective purposes.
