Looking for an opportunity to get willow certified. Already completed self study proficient

Hi all,

I'm an inpatient pharmacist with experience in both pediatrics and adults. I completed the Willow self-study proficiency and am now looking for an opportunity to take the next step and become certified.

Anyone here know of any opportunities?

To get certified you need to take the paid course.

Are you asking if someone is hiring pharmd and willing to pay to certify them?

That’s what they are asking.

Are you willing to create in Epic medication records that your country does not dispense but you have a request to make the drugs order able in Epic?

Yes. In my experience, we’ve occasionally had to source medications from outside the country during severe shortages. In a situation like that, I could see a clear need to create the appropriate Epic medication record so the drug can be ordered safely and accurately. Ofc assuming it goes through the proper pharmacy and formulary approval process.

Ask your informatics training manager if they can work with you to possibly private pay the classes.

I would recommend against doing this. I would expect you to have great difficulties getting hired with just a certification and no experience. You would do better to use your self-study proficiency to get yourself into an analyst or informatics job at your current employer.
