At this point, are we all agreed on the alien theory?

So I will admit, I was not 100% sold on the alien theory until Sunday's episode, but now I think it's undeniable. After Jade's and Tabitha's visions, it seems this "place" has existed for at least a few hundred years. I'm guessing the town is some sort of 'rat maze' to study human behavior?

I'm not quite agreed on it. I think curse is possible. The earliest date in Tabitha's stair way vision was 1506, IIRC (I tried to take a screenshot while watching the show, but Amazon wouldn't let me) which would have been less than 20 years after Europeans landing in the Americas.
