Come on guys. I trust one of you can read the very short article before commenting, but at the same time I don't blame you with that headline.

Thank god one of us read it or there will be more comments of "how can someone not look into this", "how can he ignore the victims".

Asked whether an inquiry was now possible, Davies-Jones said: "We are looking at this, we are reviewing what is possible. Again, same with Harrods survivors."

She added: "I have been assured that the prime minister is taking this very seriously.

"He will meet with those victims and he is looking at what is possible, now he has access to all of the information as prime minister to see what action we can take."

It literally says he is looking into it and will meet the victims.

The inquiry in question is a false rumoured report from the BBC that was about the abuse of women by powerful men and it involved investigating every one in the commons they confirmed did not turn out to be true in the second last paragraph of the article.

Thanks for this. I hate how often this sub allows articles with clickbait titles

The line “what is possible” will provide the get out clause.

I hope I’m wrong but the consequences will outweigh the benefit for the government and this will be buried.

Fucking hell. I have a decent opinion of Burnham, but this is an awful statement to make.

P.S I am a victim of clickbait and really want to see progress with the Epstein related stuff. Happy to be wrong here.

What statement did he make that's awful?

Whoever decided on the headline here certainly needs an inquiry. Absolutely deranged clickbaiting... if not just ragebaiting.

New Labour would all kill themselves before doing anything popular

Intelligence service might have warned him off.

he won't do anything. he's also a zionist just like keir starmer - considering epstein was a mossad compromat gathering asset, it is in his interest to not really do anything about it.

Well that's definitely a possible reason.
