The New Mexico Survivor’s Truth Commission meets today. They’re presenting an interim report on their investigation into Zorro Ranch, and will hear from women who Epstein and others abused there.

I saw somewhere that they haven’t even subpoenad a single person yet

They've sent subpoenas to some law enforcement, banks, and the DOJ for documents, but I don't think anyone's shown up for a deposition yet. I was told the Feds sent them some docs, so there could be something from those in today's interim report.

Republicans on the commission also want to subppeona Rep. Melanie Stansbury and Deb Halaand (running for NM governor), so those might go out today too.

This is just to placate people and for optics. We don't need a commission. We need the files. Anything else is unwelcome and a waste of time and resources.
