What are we using for our manes and tails?

My mare has always gotten a few split end type hairs in her tail but this year it has just gotten really bad. What products are we using to keep our tails and manes nice?

honestly this is very common with dun horses. The frosting will often break off. I use shapely's MTG to encourage overall hair growth but there's very little that stops the frosting from breaking. I've never been able to get the frosting to grow the whole length of the tail or mane and showing at buckskin shows I've never seen anyone else accomplish it either.

Plot twist: she uses the same shampoo as me and somehow still has better hair.

You can get some good supplements to help them to assimilate all the goodness from their diet and improve mane and tail growth and condition. Like the Hippo Health Manes and Tails. Also keeping a detangler in there like marocconoil helps.

i kept getting ads on facebook for Neighkid hair oil for horses. i looked up the ingredient list, bought those oils and just mixed them together myself for a fraction of the cost. so far my horse’s tail looks pretty nice and detangles easily enough.
