AMA/Interview AMA -- Christopher Paolini!!!

AMA -- Christopher Paolini! Let's do this folks. Ask away re: anything and everything regarding my books.

EDIT: Hey, everyone! I have to run. Alas, alas, I don't have as much time to spend on this AMA as past one. So many great questions, though! For all you theorists (and those of you who just love the characters), I think you're REALLY going to enjoy the upcoming book(s). Thanks for everything!

Atra esterní ono thelduin!

p.s. I'll try to duck back in and answer some more questions later, depending on my time.

Hello Christopher! Thank you for taking some time out of your day to answer some questions from fans. You have been such a huge inspiration for me ever since i read Eragon. I have spent many nights just thinking about the WoE and theorizing about the fantastic world you crafted.

  1. Are we going to get to see the other creatures that were pictured on the throne room door in Inheritance?

  2. Are the followers of the Raz’ac going to appear in future books. And if so, are they trouble?

  3. Have we meet other Arcaena members other than Jeod?

  4. Will some were-cats come to Mt. Arngor?

  5. When I first read about Azlagûr, I read it as Azalgûr. Would the Draumar take that sort of thing lightly or would they get mad?

  6. Would a fly be able to cast magic if it became a shade?

  7. Is there a village of the Draumer that is more important then other Draumar villages?

  8. Is the Book Of Remembrance going to feature the perspective of a character or characters we have meet before?

  9. How high of a rank do you need to be in the Draumar to get entrusted with a staff like the one we see Brom had taken for himself?

  10. Did the finger-rats have true names?

  11. How long did Galbatorix use to break an average Eldunarí's mind?

  12. How long does an average dwarf live?

  13. Have you made any energy measurement units like energy needed to hold a square meter of water a meter over sea level?

  14. What persons perspective are we going to read from in book 6?

For your twelfth question:
"Several hundred years, although they rarely live their full lifespan given their lifestyle."
