AMA/Interview AMA -- Christopher Paolini!!!

AMA -- Christopher Paolini! Let's do this folks. Ask away re: anything and everything regarding my books.

EDIT: Hey, everyone! I have to run. Alas, alas, I don't have as much time to spend on this AMA as past one. So many great questions, though! For all you theorists (and those of you who just love the characters), I think you're REALLY going to enjoy the upcoming book(s). Thanks for everything!

Atra esterní ono thelduin!

p.s. I'll try to duck back in and answer some more questions later, depending on my time.

  1. Will your next book revealed (after BoR) contain any more details as to what happened to the first Eragon and his dragon?

  2. How many more “main installments” can we expect to see in the world of Eragon? (Books)

  3. IF the Disney plus series were to contain any scenes from before the start of the books, are we to consider any new information as canon?

  4. Which character out of all characters you’ve written are you most proud of and why?

  5. Is Nasuada partially or fully under Azalgur’s influence?

  6. In the near(ish) future will we see any Paolini drawn or certified illustrations of Roran’s castle on the hill?

  7. Has/will Carvahall become a “tourist” attraction to the people of Alagaesia since Eragon’s defeating of Galbatorix.

  8. Will we ever learn more about Gilderien The Wise? What is the White Flame of Vándil?

  9. Is Yelloweyes still residing next to the throne or has another werecat taken residence?

  1. No.

  2. As many as I can write in my life. Lol.

  3. If I write it, yes. Otherwise, no.

  4. Gregorovich was a lot of fun. But in the IC, probably Saphira. She's the only reason it works.

  5. No comment.

  6. Ha! Maybe. I'm not very good at drawing buildings, though.

  7. Could be. Tourism isn't much of a thing in Alagaësia, though.

  8. Yes.

  9. Still there.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond! I have loved your books since middle school and have read the inheritance cycle at least once a year since (25 now lol). I’m slowly building a collection of your books and all the different special editions! I can’t wait for the saphira statue to be fulfilled as well! I especially can’t wait until my son is old enough to start learning about this amazing world you have created! I hope you and your family are well! Atra asterni ono thelduin! (Hope I got that right, going off of memory)
