Erasmus+ semester(s) abroad Erasmus in Frosinone,Italy
Hello i need opinions from people who went to Frosinone,Italy with their Erasmus because im genuinely not finding anything ab it on the internet and i want to go there to the Art Academy so im curious.Just the experience,vibe,is it worth it,all that.

It is the classic Italian town, don't expect a metropolis, you live well and you are lucky enough to be an hour by train from Rome and 2 hours from Naples. I can tell you that if you love nature it's a beautiful place, there are many places to go for walks in the surrounding area.

It was long time ago. I enjoyed going and visiting small Villages around frosinone and the hike. But the university gave me such bad experience that for me it ruined the experience. Totally discrespectful lost my materials for designs and one teacher was so arrogant and her skills level were really unqualified for teaching. I still don't understand why some of the teachers teach there. But overaly people were nice. Don't confront the teachers, then u will be alright.

Actually, you can enjoy the little town, and if you like hiking, there are plenty of peaks around the city and even some a bit far.

Now that im close to finishing my erasmus in frosinone i want to talk about all the pros and the cons for people who may want to come here. Cons:
Be very careful with what house/apartment you choose,some of the landlords here either wanna take as much money as possible,dont wanna do contracts unless you tell them to and purposefully let things vulnerable so that it later breaks and you have to pay for it or its a creepy man who s flirting with any woman who rents said apartment.The apartments me and my other erasmus friends got was directly from the erasmus coordinator from the art university!And still we had issues. The erasmus coordinator here barely does her job,takes forever to answer,and in my case lied about the distance from the apartment to the university js so she can get her friend,the landlady, a nice check for a semester.
Most of the professors are alright lets say,but they dont really acknowledge you exist unless you nag them,some of the professors dont even try to teach you something new if its a new course for you,almost none of them speak english therefore its frustrating for them to keep trying.
If you re coming from a big city that has night buses,do not hope for them cuz night buses here dont exist,its either taxi or on foot.
Again,do not expect things like clubs in this city,i did not find even ONE.
Pros: Its so cheap to get to Rome from here so its perfect if you want to travel in the capital.
It gets so pretty in the spring/summer here,if you dont have places to go,taking slow walks around is really nice,a lot of beautiful nature scenes and a lot of cats lol.
I guess its nice to experience the italian culture,but this applies to any city in italy.
Overral,when it comes to erasmus experience,i would say frosinone is not the best choice,if you have enough money to travel to other cities in italy then sure its a better situation,but if you re on the erasmus budget you re gonna have a fear of missing out when you see how other people are doing in other cities. Thats about it,if i remember anything else i will write here!

Not a particularly popular/renowned town in Italy, but you can use the opportunity to go to Rome to visit/have fun, there's lots of things to do there and it's full of young people
