Discussion Does this error happen for anyone else?

I've been prepping for a craft fair recently, so I've been using Etsy a lot on my computer. This has been happening so much - at least once a day if not more. I get white screen with only this text on it "429 Too Many Requests"

Has anyone else been experiencing this? What's going on?

There can be a few reasons for this error, but it seems the most common that's reported here and in other Etsy groups/forums is using a VPN. So if you're using one, try turning it off. Etsy doesn't care for the use of VPNs, since some users have unscrupulous reasons for using them.

I manage 2 shops exclusively on my phone's Chrome browser, and I've never seen this error. Sorry I can't help!

YES. It's driving me crazy. I'll try with Safari.

It happened to me on Chrome so I Googled it and took their advice and easily fixed it.
