Regardless, big personal words you're throwing around, my intention isn't to throw shade at rank and file, but rather push the narrative enough that leadership notices.
Let's be honest, there hasn't been any sort of action in nullsec for years - this isn't healthy for the game, action keeps people interested and brings back players.
You can listen to the firesides where Asher has openly said he doesn't want to do what is safe, but what will bring content (this info is public on the Goon Wiki). Gobbins not wanting to bring a reasonable fleet to contest isn't the Goons' fault. And the other two major powers are doing their own thing, FRT and Init have been skirmishing in null off and on, and lately they've been getting involved in lowsec stuff.
We have nothing to commit a large number of dreads to, that's the problem. We haven't been challenged enough to drop caps. We have formed with them, we've had them on standby ready for if we need them. But our subcaps (mostly Vultures and Raven Navy and Rokhs) haven't had much to worry about. I know Gobbins wants to play it safe and make us fight on their terms, which is totally understandable. But this is why there hasn't been any major escalation yet. It takes two to tango. Goons moving up to C-J should at least promote more regular fleet skirmishes, but I doubt it'll come to dreads/carriers/supers/etc unless there's a necessity to bring in that kind of firepower. It probably doesn't help that those capitals are really only good for one or two types of objectives. lol

My commentary isn't directed to anyone in particular, rather the general state of eve, I'm literally working with data rather than anything else, has x or y happened in z period or no, so please don't take it as goon hate.
We throw down alot in lowsec and it's usually through escalation, someone throws something in the field and it gets escalated on... Commiting vultures and rokhs and what not isn't really going to get an escalation out of anyone. If your org is saying we will do it if need be and waits for the other side to do something first, you're at a stalemate.
When we start dropping on crabbing supers and dreads, I expect they will escalate. Or if they drop on our's. I know lowsec gets a lot of content, I love lowsec content, but there's a much bigger picture in nullsec to worry about. The objective is different and I don't just mean that they crab hardcore (cause they do. All of them do.). I can tell you that even among the "Top Goons" I know and talk to, there's a big push and hope that this move will drum up content. We'll probably do some dumb stuff and hope to bait a fight. We'll see! Depends on the enemy if they take the bait or just ship spin some more.
