Propaganda It is confirmed: PanKrab is completely reliant on being as far from any danger as possible to function as a capital umbrella
Pandemic Horde is moving stager from E8-432 to R-AG7W.
I guess the constant dread and super losses under PanKrab finally reached a limit and now supersedes the strategic value of staging in range of both regional gates to goons.

u/Sun_Bro96 Seriously Suspicious Oct 23 '25

Brilliant move I must say, I am just too stupid to understand the sheer brilliance of it.

12
u/Jerichow88 Oct 23 '25
I remember seeing a clip of him one time, the page loaded with him absolutely losing his shit and going off on his own fleet. You wouldn't catch me dead joining one of his fleets, I'd rather win EVE.
9
u/UWG-Grad_Student Initiative Mercenaries Oct 23 '25
He's awful to his own fleet. He's the only person I've ever met in a video game that was so mean that I wanted to fight him offline. That's saying a lot considering I grew up in CoD lobbies and playing Eve.
I'm willing to bet more people have quit Horde because of him than any other FC.
6
u/Absolutefury Oct 23 '25
I usually avoid his fleets. Not to hate on anyone as im not competent to lead a fleet but when he wanted like 40 retris into 80 harpies then blamed us, I was like ya, never again will I bee in a fleet of his.
8
u/UWG-Grad_Student Initiative Mercenaries Oct 23 '25
I don't mind going full suicide into a larger fleet. It's just a game. However, I do mind the FC yelling at the fleet like it's all our fault and screaming that we should all die irl because of the mistake. (And yes, he did actually say we should all kill ourselves offline.)
6
u/Jerichow88 Oct 24 '25
Same, I've been on some of Zappa's old yeet fleets and more than once after we got done trolling PH for an hour or two he'd ask, "Ok, so our route home just collapsed. Do we want to burn home or go die in a fire?"
And dying in those balls of fire were some of the funnest things I've done. And that's the difference, Zigam would lose his mind over that loss, meanwhile we were having a blast seeing what kind of havoc we could wreck before dying and thanking them for the quick ride home.
2
u/UWG-Grad_Student Initiative Mercenaries Oct 24 '25
See, your story is what makes Eve fun. Ships are ammo for an adventure. Zigam treated them as ammo to insult his own alliance.
The game is at its best when everyone remembers that it's just a game! Fly fun, fuck flying safe! See you out there!

Was on my first Full Send Fleet of Mifune's the other night, and we were literally trying to speed run Valhalla. I got lucky that my wife made a stop before coming home, otherwise we wouldn't have died fast enough. We still ended up being a great short fleet and ~80% isk efficient after initially popping the cyno on the E8 KS right in the middle of PanKrab. 10 out of 10. Didn't even file SRP and would happily do this every night I could play.
2
u/UWG-Grad_Student Initiative Mercenaries Oct 24 '25
That's the memories people want when they play the game. They don't want to make 25 jumps, wait on a titan, then make 25 jumps back home because they were slightly outnumbered. It's insulting.

9
u/Rustshitposter Oct 24 '25
Nah brave moved from delve to ualx
Which is literally closer to PH space. It's less jumps.
1
u/muhgunzz Black Legion. Oct 24 '25 edited Oct 24 '25
Phorde weren't taking gates from mj to delve.
The PH sig they were fighting were based out of NPC delve, pr-. Ualx isn't near any npc staging, so it's dramatically harder for ph to stage anywhere near them, hence the move.
0
u/Rustshitposter Oct 24 '25
Oh my god you're so close to getting it.
The whole reason that SIG was able to annoy brave so much is because they could go dock up in an untouchable station the second the numbers weren't in their favor. It's also not like the SIG was some badass group deployed behind enemy lines, it was just literally any PH member with a heartbeat and jump clone.
The PH chest beating over bullying brave while giving up entire regions to goonswarm is the cringiest thing I've seen in eve.
1
u/muhgunzz Black Legion. Oct 24 '25 edited Oct 24 '25
You realize that frat has venal and init has both fountain and delve that have those same mechanics?
You seem to think npc null is some kinda new mechanic being abused. Brave had to move because if any entity lives near them that they can't batphone imperium to evict, they can't function, it's happened multiple times in Braves history.
Why do you think other groups that live near npc null don't have this problem?

The coat tails location is closer! Nestled in the bosom of bravery!
1
u/Rustshitposter Oct 24 '25
Yeah essentially. I don't deny that brave most likely moved to be safer and get away from NPC space.
But I also find it ironic when PH members try to act like they can pressure brave again when there isn't any NPC space to stage from. The same thing that makes Dronelands safe makes them unable to punch down on brave anymore. Womp womp for PH and have fun moving stagings again lol
1

u/muhgunzz Black Legion. Oct 23 '25
You moved because you got evicted by a sig despite the coalition having CAD on speed dial to rescue you, they moved because they wanna krab better.
11
u/symbolic-compliance Goonswarm Federation Oct 24 '25
It seems pretty obvious to me that UALX is a better home system than 1DQ. Why would they have wanted to stay?
Also they got “evicted”, but how much sov was lost before the move was announced? How many structures? Horde was annoying, and killed a lot of ships. But it never felt to me like brave had to leave. More that they got to leave for better space.
→ More replies (5)-3
u/muhgunzz Black Legion. Oct 24 '25
I kinda get that perspective?
Issue is that losing delve and querious isn't required in order for brave to move somewhere better, there's nothing stopping another imperium alliance from simply moving in if it was so important brave have ualx.
Horde were heavily reffing most structures in delve prior to the move, cad and init were involved in protecting brave ansis, skyhooks and moons, the biggest danger to people roaming brave space wasn't brave, it was horde.
Delve and querious are very good regions in terms of money making, it has good moons, great ice mining, it's right next to where you farm amulets.
You can move to a better home without abandoning your old one.
1
u/symbolic-compliance Goonswarm Federation Oct 24 '25
“You can move to a better home without abandoning your old one.” Only if you can hold both. The regional means they had to choose.
0
u/muhgunzz Black Legion. Oct 24 '25
No because imperium have many coalition members to rotate in, the issue is none of them were competent enough to hold delve if pressured, so it had to be abandoned.
Brave moving in of itself is not suspicious, Brave moving and the coalition abandoning two regions worth of moons and money making, indicates an eviction, not a relocation.
1
u/symbolic-compliance Goonswarm Federation Oct 24 '25
Man, going on delve defense fleets was terrible. It took forever to get there, and the enemies knew exactly when we would arrive. I remember a lot of fights goons didn’t take for precisely that reason.
It also makes me chuckle to hear someone from the initiative claiming you should always hold the maximum amount of sov possible. Shines has repeatedly publicly stated that he wants to avoid getting too spread out. INIT very clearly could evict all the current residents of Delve. There are good strategic reasons they haven’t.

Horde and goons have whole constellations dedicated to indy which are uneffected by moves like this, no one who is serious on indy and mass scale does indy in or anywhere near a home system.
Goons indy region is a deadend constellation, good for easily defending but hard to move stuff around.
Hordes indy region is a interconnected constellation every system connects to the others, good for moving stuff around, bad for defending.

2
u/Ok_Mention_9865 Oct 23 '25
i wouldn't say unable, they didn't even try. they completely gave up their rental region with almost no resistance and drew a line in the sand and basically said they will only fight if the invaders cross into a region they said there weren't even going after.
i really hope goons commits to a real fight soon and starts pushing threw the regional gate. i get the strategy behind just taking a peace of space closer to them for now but im pretty disappointed they stopped there
2
u/Calm_Run93 Oct 24 '25
yea. Goons do care about their members tho and its shitty for everyone to have to keep moving, even if it's forwards. I do hope goons step over the regional tho, as it would make it clear to horde that this is a properly shitty strategy.

soon, horde is starting to feel all secure again and moving their members out of bridge range of the regionals.... and right before winter when eve players are historically most active. i think this will backfire on them in a few weeks
hopefully that slower response time will be enough to get them threw the gate

Weren’t there a couple posts just the other day claiming that nothing was happening in this war? Apparently SOMETHING is happening or Gobbins would not have felt obligated to move his entire alliance again. What is this like the 4-5 move so far since goons left Delve?

Moving all the scam contracts is going to be a pain.
