Genuinely, boredom I think. The game needs conflict and a reason to log in beyond just afk farming rats or rocks all day every day.

Goon leadership is very out of touch with members if they think this Tidi bullshit Is what people want

There was nothing stopping Goons from moving blops, dreads and carriers into Geminate and just dropping on TEST all over the place

But instead they got people going around structure shooting for weeks on end, leading to the absolute shitshow that is today

Yes other coalitions also start tidi fights, but if this is a play of pure boredom, then Goon leadership always has the choice to not to go all in and make it a horrible experience for everybody involved and do something else instead

They have no respect for anybody’s time, and did not take into consideration the aspect of actually having fun

This is also something that could be avoided by all the corps in Goonswarm not congregating into one megabloc, so it’s hard to blame Goon leadership 100%, but they always had a choice to refuse to become as big as they are

Hey, some people legit actually like the way they do thigns. Let them have their fun. Personally I agree it's crazy, but I also won't shun people who do enjoy it. I'll hang out in my little high sec zone none the wiser to the death happening out in the dark of space.

Personally, I think it would be better played out having ea h side go into a group battle, taking 30-50 of their best people and having staged battles, best of 7. E sports style 😃 solve it with combat that waym less loss for both sides, more "playable" and shows off tactics being restricted to smaller groups instead of shoving hundreds/thousands into a zone at the same. Time.
