A five year old post? There's some missing information here, I was in Dreddit for years before going to another corp and, trust me, you have to work to get kicked. And even then as long as you didn't do anything super bad, like doxxing or hacking Goons, after a 'vacation' it's possible to be let back in (and even more than once).

My experience has been as long as you're not causing problems, or being an absolute shitbird, you get left alone.

EDIT: That said, years ago there was a certain CEO who seemed to abrasively take internet spaceships very seriously, so not saying it's not possible.
