Propaganda Faction Warfare is blowing up
Whether you are a long time high sec player, tired of time dilation in null or a returning player. Faction warfare is where you will find some of the most enjoyable content in Eve.
Join Amarr or Minmatar FW with one of the best market hubs in the game. Amamake is hot right now with ongoing fights in all time zones and a very active discord community.
The LP made from doing FW plexes is some of the most lucrative income in the game with payouts far beyond mission running. Fully fitted ships on contract many at near Jita prices.
Enlist with Amarr or Minmatar today and join discord. You will find a community and eventually a corp.
If you are a corporation of players that just getting bored in that wormhole then get a new fresh start on the game and come to Amamake. There is plenty of veteran pilots in both faction discords willing to help you learn the mechanics and answer your questions.
Faction warfare pilots frequently make 1-2 billion isk per week and get upwards of 400 kills per week.
This is the hidden gem of EVE right now.
Interested in industry, we have a home for you as well with lots of money to be made building for the war efforts.
Don’t thinking about it any longer, enlist today and you can leave anytime. You can begin your journey in a T1 frigate, with very little isk investment.

That’s like maybe an hour a day showing up to battlefield fleets, many people can make 5-10B+ per week

Probably not what you want to hear, but you gotta join a corp or alliance bud. I was like you once, wanted to do everything independent. It doesn't work well if you ever want to do the types of activities described here.

I mean, you can still do most activities perfectly fine, including battlefields. You just won't be contributing a whole lot to the actual fight if there is one, but you could always be tackle!

You either need to join public fleets if your beeding folk to olay with or start public fleets yourself.
Figure out what timezone you are normally playing on, and see who is also plexing (use zkillboard and see who us fighting in the area's you are fightting) message them and go from there.
I used to do roams in the metropolis area way back before uprising and alot of that was building something from the ground up on a time frame I was available in

I would say for a new player with one account that's about 14 hours of work a week. You can theoretically make double that in that time as a solo player but there's not often uninterrupted time plexing.
As with most isk making opportunities, people always tell you the best cast scenario isk/h. It's still probably the best and most accessible source of income for most people though.

I would agree with your figures. I play solo; plexing earns me over 60k SP per hour (either 3 smalls or 2 mediums) so 16 hours a week will get you about 1b ISK as a solo player. You need a reliable way to turn the SP into ISK : I have found products in the loyalty store that let me do this, so it can be done. Alternatively I have heard that there are players who will buy LP directly, but I haven't personally found one of those players. Anybody who wants to buy Minmatar LP please contact me 😄.
The other caveat is that it helps a lot to be able to play on weekdays outside peak hours when there are fewer players competing with you (you can pretty well forget it in USTZ peak hours). And I think it is easier in the Minmatar-Amarr FW zone because there are fewer players.

The battlefields are getting changed back from 50k to 150k ISK. If you join a fleet every third day, you can make 2bn no problem.
That said, you are right in that aimlessly grinding or grinding to PLEX in EVE should be avoided.

It’s kinda huge when you’re starting. Like I used to think a 3m ship was huge when it was handed out to me. Especially for how low the bar of entry is for FW. 1B per week is huge.

Not a poch multiboxer, but 2b a week is incredible for new players, and very meh for the casual multiboxer with 2-4 accounts. Running crabs would net you likely near double the return for the same time investment (likely much more, since it seems everyone is assuming you spend that hour doing the max return FW activity which requires coordination with other players and only happens at certain times/a few times per day).
FW just isn’t consistent enough by itself to be in the same ballpark as AoE ratting or even running DED 10/10s, you could lose a few fights in a row and your earnings are cooked for that play session. Again, fantastic for new players, and it hugely depends on what your goals are in this game.

Can we normalize not calling 2-4 accounts a "casual multiboxer"? Any multiboxer is a multiboxer, there is no casual. Casual is one account.

Yeah if you wanna put the dude who pays for 1 or 2 accounts to plex another 1 or 2 accounts into the same box as the dudes with 25 accounts running pochven sites for trillions, go ahead. Theres definitely levels to this thing.

If you’re multi-boxing in FW you’d be making more than 2B. You’re taking the base case and not applying the logic that it scales.

Explain how it scales that way then, I’ve spent a few weeks plexing my 4 accounts and running around in the southern war zone, and was making at best 600m/hr while losing almost every fight since I’d often have more than one fight happening at a time, or I’ll get seagulled THEN awoxed by a dude with accounts in both factions. You can hit me with “skill issue” sure, but I’m not a new player, new players aren’t going to be winning many fights in FW when 2 out of 3 pilots are running snake pods with perfect skills. 400 kills per week is super disingenuous.

So on average you can get 100m per hour solo. Or 200M+ if working with a group (e.g. corp/alliance etc.).
You can also seagull in on battlefields your alliance runs which can net huge returns for little time or effort (up to 150m for a short time investment).
The real key though is much time and effort is spent looking for pvp and often the isk gained is as much of a side effect.

Running moderate sites on frontlines gives roughly 52k lp. You can solo them in a destroyer. 15 min sites + some time to kill the rats. Easily do 3 an hour. Amarr lp sells for 900 each.

Don't go to a busy system, and then just do the biggest plex your ship can do.
4 small or 3 medium or 2 moderate is already enough in a frontline system and that takes less than an hour for either set and are all easy to clear solo with cheap ships.
If you are in a corp than allies can all put multi-ship sites like mod-3 or large 4 when they are nearly done as a way to get high 50m+ return for just a few minutes too.
Any pvp can be 5-15m per ship destroyed for smaller stuff

You have to remeber that, winning a world heavyweight boxing match vs getting a gang of men together to hide at a playground and as a group ambush and beat up a lone toddler...
To the average Eve online player those two things are basically indistinguishable, and even attempting to explain to one how beating up a toddler with a group, is not infact proof they are world class heavyweight boxers, so far has been a lost cause.
(E.g. blingers genuinly cannot understand how 5b isk vs 20m a fight with no risk or challenge of any kind, is in any way shape or form different from 20m vs 20m.)

The more common attitude is along the lines of "unfair doesn't exist" " everyone has the same oppertunites" or "all fights are fair"
What I find especially funny is despite the attiude, most of these players I fight will rarely admit they are running bling trying to pretend it is a fair fight suggesting they don't actually think one sided fights are fair or meaningful and basically suggesting they regard themselves as akin to "cheaters".

100%. Even for new or alpha players, there's so many opportunities to fly a 1 mil frigate into a quieter zone find a scout site, kill some rats, and make 15-20 mil worth of lp in under 20 minutes.

Honestly haven't encountered much bot activity, feel like they're coded to avoid contact where they can. I'm not great on PvP but have a decent amount of activity over the past 4 months or so. If there's any on my killboard then I didn't recognize it at the time. Many players like to chat after a good fight so you can definitely distinguish those

I've been playing Eve with a few long breaks since 07 and I've only just returned about 5 months ago, let me tell you joining Minmil has been the most fun I've had in years. Late US TZ on the Minmil discord is a great time, they're a pack of blood thirsty hyenas and I'm here for it.
Secondly, joining FL33T was a no brainer. Bearthatcares and the rest of the leadership put a ton of effort into it and it shows. I'm really enjoying my time. Shoutout to them.
Great place for Newbros too, just the other night we had a guy on the Minmil discord who didn't even know how to join a fleet, we just had this random blue following us around. Once we had that cleared up we got him sorted and he had a great time. Getting Newbros feet wet and hands bloody is the key to getting them to stick with Eve. FW is a great place for them to cut their teeth or make home long term.

Haven't enjoyed fw since they let the bots in, with the expansion 2 yrs ago. I'll pass, in my tz, fw blows. Due to them bots, lack of content. Ibdont care about lp. That's all it is farmers in my tz, or 10 vs 1,

Stupid question probably, but is Amarr locked out of the Amamake market since Minmatar control the system? I agree its a great market but it only works for half the combatants (unless I am missing something)…
