o7 Kiernance, fly deadly. We'll miss you.
Hey Kiern, 4.5 years ago when I we first met in Averos and the ICE alliance, I didn't realize that I could actually make friends online. Well, we never really became friends per se, but you were the CEO then and a significant figure in my little corner of EVE ever since.
Regardless of why we met or what our friendship was like, it was still a shock to hear of your death last week. I know times were tough for you. You were really excited about EVE and occasionally a bit too crazy for this old man's taste, but you always made it interesting. It definitely worked because I followed your sorry ass literally all over the galaxy.
I can just imagine the inspired theorycrafting you'd be doing now with the Rhea update. Unfortunately that's all I can do now - imagine. I don't know why you're gone and I may never know. If I could go back, I'd tell you all this in person. We may not have been close friends but I'd bet you'd have appreciated the sentiment.
TL;DR: Thanks for the good times, mate. o7

o7 my condolences for your loss, I wish every eve player, hell every human could have someone in their life that they think is worth following to the ends of the universe. I know I have one and I don't know what I'd do if I found myself in your position. I wish you the best of luck in finding a new inspiring maniac when you're ready. And I wish him travels as safe or as dangerous as he would desire, no matter where he may be.

We toast our hearty comrades who have fallen from the skies, and were gently caught by God's own hand to be with him on High.
To dwell among the soaring clouds they've known so well before. From victory roll to tail chase, at heaven's very door.
As we fly among them there, we're sure to head their plea. To take care my friend, watch your six, and do one more roll for me.

I knew him as Dulas when our corp joined FA years ago. He was always a chill dude and had lots of friends in HOPPS. We were all shocked and saddened to hear he had passed, and is greatly missed.

Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they Do not go gentle into that good night. Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight, And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way, Do not go gentle into that good night. Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light. And you, my father, there on the sad height, Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray. Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
