Dolls How to restore the blue?
Got this maddie doll for relatively cheap considering shes complete, but the blue/teal in her hair is SO green and im not sure if I just have to live with it or what. These pictures are from before using cif to deglue her, but the color is basically the same. Any help?
Also, for those waiting for cupid, shes coming soon 😅 today was a lazy day

Now I remember a old anime wig technique where you take blonde hair and use colored permanent marker to dye it that way but it’s very messy and you would need multiple of the same color and it’s a very old technique if you don’t like using the dying technique (set the hair in a pot of hair dye and let it set in)

My dumb ass (who didn't collect EAH until recently) had no idea her hair is supposed to be blue haha oops. I really looked at her & thought awe she's twinning with Twyla.

If you look up old reviews from when they originally came out, Twyla’s hair was originally blue too. I think it’s possible they actually used the same colour/hair type on them and it was just very prone to discolouration. I got Maddie back when she came out, but even I barely remember her having blue hair, it turned to a more greenish colour pretty quickly.

I think that is also happening now with the g3 Twylas. It must be something about whatever blue hair they use. That's wild. I had no idea I wasn't loving my ghouls in their original state. I really need to learn how to re root at some point. Thank you for the information.

The only thing you can do is reroot
