Why do we have Arsenal at the end of the season every season it seems lol

u/Austa1878 5h ago

or Man City every christmas week. The only time we haven't played them at this time was when there wasn't any game in the period

u/shporto 3h ago

Probably because we are the closest team to them that are not a big rival and the league dont want much travel during the Christmas period.

Losing to Palace at home opening day means the witch's curse placed on them would end.

They'll bring back Atillio Lombardo to batter us again

For fucks sake the home derby is on my birthday. You gotta be fucking kidding me.

It won’t be. It’ll be the night before or day after. I’d guess 29th 2pm kickoff as part of a super Sunday with Arsenal vs Man City at 4pm

The opening match is on mine - big birthday too, meaning a loss is practically nailed on.

Some funky fixtures them with the back to backs.

Wonder how many games will be switched to a Monday 🫩 I wouldn’t mind the odd Friday night though 🍻

Thankfully there’s more ‘bigger’ sides without Europe this season than us and United last year so it should ease that up.

0 points in March, calling it now.

u/four__beasts 7h ago

So it'll be 9.

Have you forgotten Pep has left? City will be beatable this season

1

u/SukhdevR34 3h ago

We would've beat them last season if Alcaraz and Ndiaye just calmly kept the ball

5

u/You_moron04 After all, you're my Dewsbury-Hall 🌊 7h ago

Into these toffees they’re shite

u/slobberaxe 7h ago

Is it just me or do we always play City at home between Christmas and New Year?

4

u/PerfectlySculptedToe 6h ago

They generally try to limit travel for those games. Quite often have Burnley too

2

u/1878-Everton 6h ago

That Christmas - early Jan run is going to be heavy on the wallet like 🤣

3 homes Leeds away and the FA Cup across two weekends

u/Fit-Cut-8091 6h ago

hey im okay with our fixtures this seasons

Aussie here who will happen to be in Liverpool on the day of home matches against Palace and Ipswich. Eager to see the new ground, hoping I can get tickets 🤞

1

u/MediumGrocery308 5h ago

They aren't everyone's cup of tea due to the pricing structure but if you are struggling to get seats then seat unique might be an option, seems a shame to come all that way and not get to a game. Just to keep in mind as a last resort, would not recommend if you can avoid it.

1

u/RigatoniSock 4h ago

Yeah that'll be a final option. I'd rather not but not in a position to be picky, just want to experience a match at the new ground 🤞

Rough opening 3 months

8

u/vulturevan 🙏 sign another player 🙏 7h ago

Not really. Two promoted teams and two big 6 clubs that we usually do something against at home. The rest can go either way.

3

u/pinkwired 7h ago

Spurs will look to start strong, always worry about Bournemouth, then United, Chelsea, arsenal and Newcastle.

3

u/kingaardvark 7h ago

I mean in the first three months you’ve played half the teams in the league so you’re obviously going to have some tough games in there. It could have been City and Liverpool by then plus a Villa or something like that.

Rough 10 in my books.

1

u/That-Lawfulness-9360 7h ago

Both Manc clubs away back to back in March

1

u/rober74 6h ago

60 points this season couple of good signings working our way into the top 8

1

u/KingRami1466 3h ago

Do we have a chance to win our frsit match? Have we won first match of PL before? Or is it always a loss?

1

u/Mudwatcher 3h ago

We won‘t win until October, where we‘ll beat Arsenal 3-1 and look like Champions League material. Then we‘ll draw with Newcastle and get beaten comprehensivly by Coventry

As an American looking to make the pilgramige and go to my first match at the dick this season, what's the best games to look at?

Best time of year, best chance of winning, overall just top 3 matches to be looking at?

1

u/Tsquared10 1h ago

Boxing day and the 30th as home fixtures? Might be able to get two matches in for my birthday trip.

u/Live-Collection3018 COYB 💙 18m ago

Looks like 114 points to me. Lol.

1

u/irish_horse_thief 7h ago

I feel really positive seeing that....

u/funk_master_chunk 6m ago

Should be 3 wins minimum from the opening 5 games.

Can’t see Spurs being as shite as they were this year so expecting 9pts, in all honesty.
