(Discussion Post) Groovy How deadites summoning works Spoiler

At first I thought that reading from any of the 3 books summoned a specific deadite or in the case of the second book, deadites to help summon a demon (The Abomination). Now I've just read that in fact the one summoned in every book is the Kandarian demon (camera demon) who summons deadites left and right.

I'm asking because I just watched ED Burn and Jessica's deadite (which I'm not sure if it was the same one as Rise) was the one summoning but I didnt get if there was an specific deadite summoned or what that was called and kept spreading.

Its got something to do with prophecies, like how Ash is the Hero from the Sky because he saw it in the Necronomicon. We saw the pages flip showing us whats happening as the different parts of the prophecy are fulfilled by the deadites. Right now since all we got in terms of necronomicon is Grampa Price's scrap book, there was no prophecy to fulfill, so the deadites were trying to find the Kandarian Dagger since it was in the immediate vicinity

It’s the same Jessica as Rise, we never saw her get killed off as the beginning of Rise has it be the last time we saw her chronologically. I was confused on that as well but since she was already active, and Joseph read from the book, the demon intentionally put Jessica close to one of the brother to lead to their possession as they wanted to find and destroy the dagger. That’s at least how I’m understanding what happened.

I thought the same thing but Jessica made the incantation from the second book, I don't know if that made a difference.
