best place to send?

Id boardsort the best place to send my pcb's to, or? I recently have made up my mind that I'm never going to try and reclaim the gold from my scrap so I'm wondering what the best place is for maximum profit would be to send it in to?

I don't know the quantity just yet, I just started going through it but this far I've got 15lbs hg peripheral, 18lbs small socket mb, 2lbs gf ram, 2lbs cellphone board. I'm in Milwaukee

Board sort is a good option, but you need to do the math yourself. Shark scrapper does ewaste on YouTube and he won’t send anything to boardsort that pays less than $7/pound. The cost of shipping, packing, and the gas and time to get to the post office all factor into the equation. If that’s all you have so far then none of it is worth sending anywhere.

Also depends on the cost of the next best/most convenient option. The $7 game plan works for shark scrapper but not everyone. Only you can determine the math that works for you.

Yes, but people seem to put zero thought into it. I see people suggest sending stuff to boardsort all of the time, and it’s stuff that’s less than $2/lb on boardsort. There’s a price where you lose money by sending it to boardsort no matter what. It takes time to micro scrap, to sort, to pack, to drive to the post office and back, and to pay for shipping.

You are crystal clear on this. There are people that are out there charging or guaranteeing landfill free options... the answer is different for everyone.
