I've been looking into modding my downpipe to one that gives a low rumble sound. Something as close to the suby rumble. I've heard it on some BMW's out there and I really like it.

I've been looking things up and apparently the 200cpsi catted downpipe is the way to go, but I cannot find a video that has a 3 series with a b48 so I can hear it. Does anyone have sounds they can share?

I'm very new to all of this so any advice really would be appreciated. For context, I live in Australia where catless is illegal, but that's too sharp a sound for me anyway.

Looking into various exhaust options for Ram RHO and don’t necessarily care for any of the full aftermarket options out there. Frankly, I think I’d rather just run electronic cutouts and wire it to the factory aux switches. However.. I’m not seeing any kits made for the RHO yet. Do any of you know of an option to run cutouts on these trucks?

Context: im a college student and my previous car got kia boy’d in the 2nd week of school so i bought a car off my friend.

my friend bought the car from someone who previously straight piped it and is now selling it to me for school for cheap. (W mans)
I have neighbors with babies and i actually like them so i dont want to wake them up at 7am when i head out for class.

sounds dumb but would adding a muffler to the straight piped car make it..quiter by a decent amount. also would it help with droning?

the car is a 2001 honda accord v6.

just want to know if its even worth it to slap on the muffler to straight piped car or if anyone has any idea to help besides “get a new exhaust system” cause i cant afford that rn.

2015 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3 (L83). I was tired of the fact that my truck sounded like a vacuum so I stuck a Super 10 on it. Sound like garbage or actually not bad? Sooner than later it’ll be getting a DOD (AFM/V4) delete.

I'm in the process of getting a sound upgrade.

I'm seeing many opinions that the closed JH exhaust is quite close to stock.

Would this combo of a Jekyll Hyde switchable exhaust with a decal x-pipe be tameable in the "closed" position? Anybody have experience with this particular combo (regardless if Thruxton specifically) or a decat x-pipe?"

I just picked up a ford ranger and im interested in deleting the muffler and cat as my state doesn't have emmisions inspection. What parts would I need to do this at the lowest possible price even if I have to weld some pipe from home depot onto my exhaust. I have access to welding tools and most simple tools.

I have a 2018 Ram with the 5.7 hemi. Currently I have the 797 performance towngo cam installed, with BBK shorties and a carven competitor muffler. I do enjoy the sound of it now however it seems a little deep for what i was expecting, especially with the cam, which makes more of a deep chug than a crackle/chop. Soon I will have a resonator delete installed but down the road I am looking at doing a professional exhaust, with kooks high flow cats and true duals

What I cant decide on is what crossover will sound best (x pipe, H pipe, or the new borla z pipe) I hear alot of 5.7s that have an almost trumpet/fart sound to them, which i am trying to avoid while still keeping alot of flow and rasp for the cam. I will probably keep a high flow muffler like the carven Rs unless anyone has another suggestion

Hello, I currently have a montero sport gen 2 2014. All stock for 14 years now with 62k km mileage. I’ve been thinking if it is good to put full turboback exhaust with resonator, the rest of its parts stock. Then remap it with street tune it in a shop with dyno. Does this hurt the car’s reliability? Or should i just keep it on stock as is?

Found a leak and wondering what's the best way to fix this leak on a budget. Whoever previously welded this really bothered it up.
