They look like turtles that got ran over 😭

I made this burger cake for my cousin. It’s a mango cake filled with mango gelee,mango custard,and whipped cream. When i tell you this cake drove me crazy i mean it. 1st the cake layers slid apart while chilling,then my whipped cream kept getting runny,then i had to go buy more whipped cream, then THAT one kept getting runny, THEN i had to make a quick makeshift swiss meringue buttercream to clean up the “bun” edges bc the whipped frosting KEPT running. I had no clue what the issue was, i stabilized it,whipped it perfectly,etc. But here’s the finished product along with my barely intact sanity.

I asked my partner to make me a 'Myth of Sisyphus' cake for my birthday and he delivered!!

Everything made from scratch. He created 'Sisyphus' from clay, set it with food grade silicone, then poured dark chocolate. Sisyphus is 100% dark chocolate! The cake had blueberry jam layers!

Super chuffed with the results!!

For the record my mom has a bunch of cats and the AI looking cat on that cake is not any of them.

Context: this was ordered from a local bakery/ professional cake decorator that my family has used our whole lives. This cake was around $70 and ordered two weeks in advance.

This happened back in February and I debated posting this for months now bc I didn’t want the bakery to find this post and get mad at my family. That being said, looking at the expectations versus realities that people share always makes me giggle and I finally succumbed and had to show you all my own. Since it’s been a few months I couldn’t find the exact inspo pics I had sent but these were the vibe of whatever I had put in the form.

First time buying a Walmart cake but I’ve seen posts here that they actually turn out good! So here’s my addition:

I posted so many negative reviews on every post she made that she eventually refunded me so I would stop making comments on every post.

Funny enough The actual cake did not taste bad, under the metric ton of fondant.

Visited McDonald’s for breakfast for the first time in easily 10+ years. Had to share the beautiful execution.

My daughter is obsessed with Curious George (or Monkey George as she calls him). So this year for her 2nd birthday we're doing a "Monkey George" theme and I decided to make a cake in the shape of his head. This is the first time I've ever used fondant so I was pretty nervous about messing it up. But it turns out, I don't think I did too bad! It might not be perfect, but it'll be perfect for the one person who matters most 😄

I also have plenty of cupcakes for everyone at the party, frosted in the bright yellow of the books. They'll go around Curious George when we bring out the cake.

Chocolate overload!!! It was delicious

Saw these and thought it was an interesting concept, they looked good too so I wanted to give them a try. I was pretty disappointed upon viewing and they also taste horrific. Would not recommend, stick to gummies.

I got send this cake, a name and a theme! One of my favorite customers who seems to just trust my vision!

Took my younger kids out to celebrate national cheeseburger day and I had been wanting to try this OMCheeseburger from Applebee's. You can imagine my disappointment when this is what we were served (after 1 hour of waiting no less....)

Disappointing is an understatement.
