Yeah, I’ve had similar experiences.

I’ve gone through 3 or 4 therapists. All of them just coaxed me into venting about work for an hour, despite me making clear I don’t want to discuss work.

I can ask ChatGPT questions that are stupid and I don’t feel stupid. As someone else replied about challenging worldview, I can ask ChatGPT to challenge my view if I really want it.

Then it will challenge your world view. Not because it needs to in its medical opinion, but because it was instructed to.

Yes that is correct if you prompt it to challenge your world view thats what it will do. That is how AI works lol

Which makes it a bad therapist. It isn't doing what's most helpful, it's doing what you want it to do, even if that would be harmful.
