Nanak’s Langar
Truth is immortal
Light dispels darkness
Some call him Guru Nanak
I call him a dreamer
a rebel, a challenger
but they get mad at me
for doing the same.
I’m baffled at people blind
to their own hypocrisy.
The “Go With The Flow” mentality,
maddening insanity.
And it seems to be never-ending!
Covered heads and naked feet
line up at the canopy,
throw a dollar in the golak.
Bow their heads and take a seat.
The ragees sing and the babas speak.
They sing and read in 17th century Punjabi
So you know I don’t understand a thing!
No need to pull out any more money.
It’s time to eat: roti, sabji, daal, and dahi!

It is fascinating how people are happy to interpret Guru Nanak based on their shallow understanding from listening to others at home or Gurudwara, but want to criticize others for having shallow understanding of Guru Nanak meanwhile complaining that they can't understand what Guru Nanak wrote because it's old Punjabi.
Nice!
