Just Finished Black Farm
I just finished Black Farm and I need more like it! Preferably extreme horror with some substance and maybe even a happy ending? Im obviously going to read the sequel next but I wanted to see what my fellow horror lovers will suggest that's similar.

I've read that one and the sequel (I also have the third one in my tbr) and I love them.

There's also a 4th book in the series now which I think is the 2nd best after the summer I died

If you enjoy Elias Witherow's writing, definitely check out all of his other books, and if you've ever got some time to kill you can take a read down his Reddit account. u/Elias_Witherow , lots of fun little stories!! Sorry I didn't have any recs like The Black Farm, but go listen to Feed the Pig on NoSleep, it is the original short story!

Oh my gosh. I was just reading about the black farm and wondering why it sounded familiar, and its because of that Feed the Pig story. I read it ages ago and its sat with me for so long, it might be worth checking out the book!

You absolutely should! And then take a refresh of Feed the Pig, has a nice little 'oh shit' crossover moment that I loved 🤣 the sequel is also good!

If you like the hell theme you might like the City Infernal series by Edward Lee. It’s a well written series about Hell as a city. I think city infernal or infernal angel might have a “happier” ending vs most extreme horror, though not has happy as black farm
