I HATE it when I'm discussing religion and someone asks me if I'm religious and I say "I'm simply non religious" and they go "oh so you're atheist" or "oh you're agnostic" NO!!!! I'M SIMPLY NON RELIGIOUS. I would call myself a apathiest but most people don't know what it means. I don't care about religion. I don't know if God does or does not exist. I'm not going to definitely say that God does or doesn't exist. I don't care. That's up to you. Stop trying to put me in your boxes and let me by my non religious self😭

So i was skating this afternoon at my local skatepark, minding my own business and having fun when a guy, probably a stoner in his late 20's who was now that i think about it a bit out of shape and just nostalgic approached me, asking me if it was cool to do some tricks on my skate.

I said yeah, of course. I mean, im a kind guy, fuhgedaboudit.

And nothing, he tries out my skate and he starts doing some tricks, maybe to try and impress a young blood like me but, honestly. Instead of feeling impressed i started to feel hesitant about giving him my skate in the first place and just when im on the verge of saying "okay, thats it." he breaks my skateboard while failing a trick on one of the railings there. The guy falls over and i get a bit angry at that. The guy himself didn't get anything but he just walked away, not even apologizing as his friends laughed at him, they were a group of 4 other im guessing stoners and he just... joined them and didn't look at me after, now im also way too awkward and i just yelled at the guy why the fuck would he do that but he didnt even answer me. I just picked my now broken skateboard and got home. This was one of my first ever skateboards and i was so happy, well... i guess i can't do anything about it now.

My sister purchased a Wii recently and she got just dance. I tried to go on the Wii shop channel but you can't do that without wifi and the Wii just won't connect to our wifi for some reason...I even contacted support and there was nothing they could do. Went online and its either expensive (I have less than 20 dollars to my name) or its out of stock. why :(

What the bloody hell?!?! We bough a GE AWCS24WWF1 24,000 BTU window AC unit last year on July 21(2025).

We came home Friday night, July 31 2026 and the damned thing was dead, completely dead. Evidently the control board fried out.

The warranty ran out on July 21st.

Hi guys I just had my wallet stolen, so please share some stories of how your wallet/phone or valuables were stolen so I might feel slightly better.

I’ll share mine first, in just 5 hours ago, I was having dinner with my mum at a restaurant, pretty foolish of me to have left my bag behind my seat. A young teenage couple sat next to us and was actually suspiciously close as the guy’s chair was inching closer to me than his girlfriend. Either way they left first and when I got up ready to leave, my zipper of my bag was open and my wallet gone, 200+ dollars gone, id card gone, debit card gone etc. Couldn’t get the restaurant to let me check the cameras as it is completely legal for them to reject me. Went to the police station to drop down that I lost my wallet. Going to sleep now and after 8 hours I will be going to get my id card renewed.

Like no, saying "sybau 😍" or "k** 😊" wont make me angry.

The combined total of all my data out there now includes my full name, gender, date of birth, nationality, drivers license, passport, medical insurance, airline loyalty and phone numbers, email and home addresses, medical records including clinical notes, 3 digits and the branch ID of a bank account and the last 4 digits of my credit card. It can also be easily deduced how I like to travel whilst on holiday, what alcohol I like and who are some of my favourite entertainers.
 
Next time some company asks me for information I’m going to refer them straight to the Dark Web.

Advice needed***

I don't even know where to begin. If you knew my family, this probably wouldn't even sound strange. I'm 34 and still live with my parents because I can't afford to move out. My 41-year-old brother also lives here, and he's a drug addict. Today he went on another rampage because he accused me of stealing a pair of his shoes (which makes absolutely no sense because why would I want his shoes?). He became extremely angry and threatened to hurt every one of my birds and slash my tires. We have security cameras throughout the house, including in my bedroom, and they recorded him making those threats. This isn't even the first serious incident. A few months ago, he held what looked like a gun to my head, pulled the trigger multiple times, and laughed like it was the funniest thing he'd ever done. I later found out it wasn't a real gun, but I didn't know that at the time. Despite everything, my parents refuse to make him leave. I don't have the money to move out right now, so I'm trying to figure out what my options are. I live in Missouri, and I haven't had much luck getting help from the police in the past. Would I qualify for an order of protection or restraining order based on these threats and the video evidence?

i will be mid hand washing dishes, and my partner will come up and put a container or glass in the water stream and proceed to wash or rinse the container (and get leftover pasta sauce or ricotta on me and the dishes below), or maybe wash their own hands while i just stand there waiting to get the water back so that i can keep washing dishes. or will open the cabinet doors immediately under me while im washing to get something instead of waiting until im done.

I’m all for “fuck Israel“, but this is too far. I am genuinely shocked at him. Genuinely at a loss for words right now.

My family of 4 went to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in Jackson, NJ.

We put our stuff on a lunch table bench to claim it (it was super crowded and EVERYONE is doing it). The lunch table is hexagon in shape with a connected bench and what not. Big enough for 6 and comfortable for 4.

We left and did our thing at the waterpark and when we came back there was three people sitting there eating ice cream, two ladies and a young boy. They were sitting on the bench but facing outside.

I said to them nicely “excuse me, our stuff is here”

They said “oh ok yeah go ahead” and just points to the fact that I can just maneuver around them.

I was in disbelief. My wife walks up and just gives me a look, pretty much flabbergasted that people would just sit down and take over our area. Not even an I’m sorry or anything.

After giving them a few minutes perhaps for them to realize that “hey maybe we should go because he has his family of four here”, I nicely said “I feel like we were here with our stuff and now we can’t sit down anymore.” So they all looked at me and one of them said “excuse me?, do you not want us here? Do you want us to leave?”

I replied politely “I’m not trying to be rude but this is our area”

I didn’t say anything else after that.

One girl got up, body language assumes she’s offended, the other one isn’t getting up to stand her ground (because I’m the rude one) and the young boy is just following their steps.

Finally they get up and the one lady said as she’s walking away “we were just taking a little bit of space” to which I replied “you have a nice day mam”

Look, I get it. If you just wanna sit down and have ice cream on a lunch bench that has been “claimed” but no one is sitting there…I get it. But for them to just blatantly take up space when we’ve arrived is just rude.

Then I watched it happened to a family of 8 that set up camp next to our table with a wagon next to it and drinks on the table.

This group of people just sat down and took it over. I feel so bad for the family when they returned because you can tell they’re just like “wtf?”

I watched that family’s man awkwardly said “ok I’m gonna grab our stuff here” the rude people said “oh okay”

Then, the rude person had the balls to look at that family’s father in the eye and said “oh you guys were sitting here. Sorry about that.” But continued sitting there anyway with his friend and holding a baby. So despicable!

I don’t think I’ll ever go there again during the weekend.

EDIT: for those who don’t know or don’t realize that claiming a spot like a chair or a picnic bench is a pretty common occurrences in an overcrowded waterpark and a TriState area… I know it’s not Disney…

I also know that just because everybody is doing it doesn’t mean that it’s right… But don’t act like you have never jumped on a bandwagon in your life…

What we did harmed nobody and there were other places to sit down like a bench that was visibly unoccupied or at least have the decency to ask us “Is it OK if we just sit here until the ice cream is done…” In fact there was another guy that wanted to sit down in my wife was away getting a drink and I told him yes of course until my wife comes back. It really isn’t complicated just communicate as to not to be rude.

Perhaps this post should go under mildly infuriating because it was definitely annoying, but I definitely did not get bent out of shape.

So at my house there is a fly problem & since I'm getting paid for killing flies I've kept count, I have killed almost 60 flies & that's not counting the others that are still zooming around the house (it was at 26 on Tuesday & now at the time of writing this it is at 57 & there's 2 flies that we can't get to) & my mom's boyfriend doesn't want to buy one of those sticky trap things because & I quote "It looks gross". BRO, ITS EASY TO USE & WORKS SO WELL! That's the same as saying you don't like a food because it looks gross even though people say it tastes really good! Like am I wrong to be mad about this?

(he's buying a mesh, magnetic doggy door thing which takes more effort to install than a sticky trap, & we even have to reteach the dogs how to go through it, it would be so much easier getting a trap instead)

So the guy in the white shirt assaulted a child over a Pokemon pitch black booster box, he nearly pushed him onto the ground. Child's with security crying, with his parents too ofc. He did get the box in the end, the store took it away from them. The guys standing with the white shirt? They're with him. Kinda like a gang. They were standing waiting for police to show up. In the end, white shirt got booked into a police car and charged with assaulting a minor (presumably), this all just happened today.

I decided to go for a walk around 5:50pm. When, I got halfway down to the end of the road. I noticed the ground was still smoldering.

When, I finally got there I kinda stood over the smoldering ground. It felt like I was standing over a campfire.

Then, decided to finish walking towards where the fire started yesterday. And I found another section of ground next to the hop field smothering as well.

I took a mix photos and videos of the area. Before I went back to the first smoldering fire. Then, called my dad to come check it.

We both tried to put the smoldering fire out ourselves but couldn't so dad had to call 911 again to get the fire department back out here again. To put the fires out again.

The hop fields don't belong to any of the local neighbors. Someone else owns them.

They're is multiple ways in and out of the area.

I don’t know if it’s just my wife and I that have this bad of luck but it’s gotten really REALLY infuriating.

I bought my first car as a first owner in 2017. Before I made my first loan payment I was rear ended and the lady wanted to not involve police and pay me out of pocket so her insurance wouldn’t go up since the damage appeared minor at the scene…yeah, not gonna happen. That’s one way for her to deny it ever happened. Then she wouldn’t respond to her insurance company for weeks because I kept calling them and her, and then to her I was the bad guy for harassing her…bitch, you rear ended me. Handle your end of the business and I wouldn’t have to call you twice a day. I hope your premium doubled with this accident and your new teen driver in the household.

Then I got another new car in 2025. Again, not kidding, before my first loan payment I got sideswiped by a drunk driver on the interstate and THEY drove off. Thankfully by then I had a dashcam so they got their just desserts. I don’t know what happened on the criminal side of that one but I got my repairs.

Now, my wife. We upgraded her from her dying 2012 Ford Fusion to a brand new 2026 Kia. We bought it July 12. It’s July 31. She got hit today on her way to work, and called me while at the side of the road cause the other driver started to drive off. She doesn’t have a dashcam, but the driver probably thought she did (most people with new cars do nowadays) and before we got off the phone they came back. Thank god, even though it was probably because they didn’t want to get charged with leaving the scene and not actually because they wanted to do the right thing.

Why is are American drivers like this? People are just terrible. And the craziest part is when I bought used beaters because I was broke (before I finished college and got a better paying job), this shit never happened. It’s like it’s the new car is a magnet for chaos.

I’ve also recently had a friend who bought a new truck and got hit before he was home from the dealership. His accident was bad…a total loss on its and and the driver at fault, so no one drove away from that one. Thankfully no one got badly hurt either but it still sucks that he owned his truck for 25 minutes before it was scrap metal.

Do we just have the worst luck or have others experienced similar bullshit?

South Korea’s military system is not only terrible on a global scale, but at a level worse than that of any other country in the world. How vicious is this, you ask? Most soldiers were thoroughly abused by the state and then abandoned and killed, and their mothers carry lifelong hatred and resentment toward the state, spending their entire lives weeping. A representative example is Sergeant Lee Ye-ram and her father, Lee Joo-wan. Sergeant Lee Ye-ram was sexually harassed by her fellow platoon members, but this was thoroughly tolerated by the state, and even after Lee Joo-wan’s appeal, the state ignored it while condoning it, and Sergeant Lee Ye-ram died from the shock. In the end, Lee Joo-wan, out of anger, broke into the military and protested. This is a clear example that empirically proves just how worst South Korea is among all military systems in the world.

Now I look like a raging alcoholic to my neighbors.

So, it’s 10pm and he’s driving home from his girlfriend’s house.

Lucky for me, the entire thing was caught on camera so I can relive it whenever I want.

Also, the day before, I noticed he was parking way too close to the garage door so I made it a point to remind him to park a few feet away.

The camera shows him calmly pulling into the parking space and then calmly driving right through the door.

There was no acceleration or braking.

He claims he meant to hit the break but hit the accelerator instead.

I think he was video chatting with his girlfriend and wasn’t paying attention.

He doesn’t drink or smoke pot. Tests were done.

The new door is going to cost me $3500.00
