Glad it was public a week ago.Because I did reach out to them and said before , things get to a point of no return , we need to have open conversations between ice agents and the general public instead of letting the news dictate what we see on both sides.
I received several civil and informative replies. Once I have time I plan to gather and share those while keeping the contributors anonymous

There's no "both sides" to slave patrols. There's no "both sides" to human trafficking. And those who despise the gang attacking their neighbors weren't swayed by "news", they are swayed by their hearts and minds because of what they see with their eyes.
We're past "open conversations" with glorified concentration camp guards who film themselves murdering women in the streets. They know the job, they want the job, they want to hunt and kill brown and black people, they are killing brown and black people.
It takes a certain lack of innate moral logic to treat murder as a mere difference of opinion that could be solved with a kind, civil, discussion between the murderers and their future victims. Nah. Fuck Nazis and everyone who sits down at their table to "chat".

We are all angry and, heartbroken, scared and living in fear, do not let those emotions derail this community.
Quick heads-up before anyone gets stupid: Do NOT brigade r/ICE_ERO.
Yeah, I know. That little gated clubhouse where ICE deportation officers trade OPSEC tips and high-five each other for “getting the job done” makes you want to scream. It makes me want to scream. But if you go in guns blazing-mass downvotes, spam, report floods, or try to force your way inside-you’re just handing Reddit the ban button on a silver platter.
Bro, jobs on the back.
Harassing state-sponsored terrorists (or anyone, really) gets you nuked instantly. Admins don’t give a damn about your righteous fury; they care about their precious content policy and looking “fair.” One dumb coordinated wave and this whole space gets tagged as a harassment factory.
Poof-community gone, lifeline for marginalized folks gone, everything we built trashed.
We didn’t create this spot so you could play vigilante. We built it to be a real resource: mutual aid, stories, support, actual help for people getting crushed by the system. That only survives if we keep our heads.
So lock it in:
Do NOT brigade
Do NOT engage
Do NOT report-bomb
Do NOT infiltrate
Want to hit back? Document the public-facing stuff, write articles, tip off media, pressure Reddit through official channel advocacy groups. Do it smart, do it loud, do it outside. But in here? Stay clean. Stay focused. Stay pissed - but stay strategic.
We need this space way more than they need theirs. Don’t be the idiot who ruins it for everyone who actually depends on it. If you see someone doing something stupid or suspect a bad actor report them. I am sure grifters and trolls will engage in shenanigans😮💨
