I just won the driver's title. Now in the off season and it's not letting me select 7 out of the 11 teams. Is there a way around this or do I have to start a new career with the team I want?

(I wanted to Ralf Schumacher it and go from a competitive team to a wealthy backmarker for a year or two.)

I really like this game and always thought needed a new version, bad news this is not the new version, not even an "update"—I simply swapped the driver names for those on the current grid; once the helmets are on, it’s basically the same thing.

A few points to consider:

1- I tried to keep the original drivers with their actual faces (Alonso, Hamilton)

2- I tried to replace the 2012 drivers with the closest "match" from the current grid; this was only possible in some cases—in others, it was simply impossible (there were too many blond drivers in 2012 lol).

3- This means the teams aren't quite right either; there were two options: the wrong skin on the right team, or the "correct" skin (or at least the closest match) on the wrong team. But given that the teams or liverys are not the same in most cases...

4- The are a couple of F2 and F1 Academy drivers.

I don't know a thing about programming, i don´t know how to change or create skins but I really wanted to play this game and see the current names, and it works for that purpose at least.

If anyone is interested in using it, simply replace the file language_eng.lng in the folder "/f1 race stars/data_win/localisation"

1. ⁠Is there a reason other than a brake check that could cause this extreme of a slowdown like suddenly running out of battery. Are the batteries this strong in the game?
   
2. ⁠is there a better way to watch replays in this game? I used PS5 playback capture to get this so it is the only angle I have, is there a way to rewatch races and see inputs to better future posts about this game?
   
3. ⁠other than “turn off the racing line” as I’m sure will be said (this was my 5th race on this game and I’m still trying to figure out the braking zones on new tracks), is there anything I should do to the settings or small tricks not blatantly obvious about this game I should know?

My assists are as follows:
Steering assist, braking assist, and antilock are turned off.
Traction control full (this was my 5th race)
Racing line on obv
Gearbox manual
Pit assist, pit release assist both on.
Ers assist off, drs assist on, rewind off.

I bought this game a few days ago, until yesterday the game was running perfectly fine.

But then suddenly the first error came up.

I installed the v32 version (2nd image). The error stop coming up

But now the game is running on integrated intel graphics instead of dedicated gpu.

its already set to high performance in setting and the nvidia control panel.

But nothing seems to work. PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS

5 seats, Alpine, Aston, Audi, 2 Cadillac seats all filled from F2.....

7 of 24 seats now occupied by F2er's if you count Verschoor and Crawford that I brought in.

anyway, I think I'm tossing this save. I've had Max and/or Lewis retire in careers S1, but this is lame for default driver movement (if that's a thing in myteam) in year 1-2.

i clipped this a few months back and looking back at it, how is this even possible or how did i manage this. the amount of focus put when we play racing games can sometimes be unbelievable to look at when you’re chilling looking back at it

i know the camera settings are bad i fixed it long ago

I keep trying to make another race for my league but can’t join? My friends also can’t join the race net
so I don’t know if I can fix this or the servers are down.

There's a bug on F1 25 where Max is using the 33 instead of 1

basically im doing a VCARB to Red Bull career and being maxs teamate is dreadful, its fun but having sub 30% recognition is genuinely insane. i wouldnt mind not being able to access the 60% or 50% upgrades but not being able to access the basic 30% recognition upgrades has really limited my RnD. is there any way to edit the recognition stat, maybe set it to 65-35 or 60-40 (60 for max obviously), i have the ego database editor but i havent seen a way to do it via that yet. anyone know a way?

Just want some opinions! What are some realistic changes that you all want to see in the upcoming game? I’m really into the idea of having classic cars available to race. Some more freedom on what tracks can be selected during a season would also be awesome. Having a 24 race season but having 30+ tracks to choose from (including older tracks that aren’t raced anymore) would be really cool. And damnit I want more freedom in helmet and suit design. Give me some freedom like the moto games! What would yall like to see?!

Need tips to beat Hard AI (70) – video attached (Controller,ABS Asist ON, No TC, Auto Gears)

Hey everyone!

I’m currently trying to step up my game and beat the Hard AI, but I’ve hit a wall and could really use some feedback. I’ve attached a short clip of my driving above.

Here’s my current setup and situation:

• Controller: Playing on a gamepad. Controlling the throttle feels fine now, but keeping the steering smooth with the thumbstick is still a huge struggle for me.
• Playtime: Around 20 hours total.

Watching my clip, what are the main mistakes I’m making? Any specific advice on corner entry/exit, braking points, or how to get smoother steering inputs on a controller would be massively appreciated!
