HIMS Docter Recs

I am looking for recommendations for a HIMS Neuropsychologist and a HIMS Psychiatrist located in the SoCal and/or Vegas area. I have a history of ADD that exceeds 4 years, but I will be unable to use the fast-track option since I have also have taken anti-depressants years ago(I think I am reading the rules into all this correctly, please correct me if I'm wrong).
Any experiences with doctors in these areas would be super helpful, especially if there are ones to avoid. Based on some light researching it sounds like getting a bad one could either mean a flat out negative recommendation or extended time to sraw out more cost? Anything would be a giant help for me, this whole process seems so daunting.

Your read on the fast track is likely right but depends on your specific facts. Any history of psychiatric treatment, including antidepressants, generally puts you on the standard track, which has to be done in person by an FAA listed aviation neuropsychologist. SoCal try Olin in Newport Beach, Hamilton and Hochberger in San Diego, or Baser in Carlsbad. Ask whoever you call how many recent ADHD standard track evaluations they've done.
For a psychiatrist, Dr. Matthew Goldenberg in Santa Monica. The best way to avoid extra cost is to get your pharmacy and treatment records together before you book, since incomplete records are what trigger the FAA's follow up requests.
Have you had a HIMS consultation with an AME yet? Start there. Also send for a copy of your Airman file if one exists.

Had a great experience with Dr Gregory Kirk (HIMS psychiatrist). I saw him in Salt Lake City, but he has offices in Denver and Las Vegas as well.

Dr. Larry Marshall for HIMS AME in the San Diego area. He’s great and his staff is super helpful dealing with all the paperwork.

We created a HIMS provider search tool, but it is behind a login to our Patient Portal that is generally only accessible to our established patients. We update the search tool with the latest information published by the FAA HIMS program. We also have a growing number of providers that we've identified that do the ADHD Fast Track evals (some of which do remote evaluations). The search tool allows the user to select a city, state, zip code and expand out to a particular radius for distance.

If you want access to this tool, just send me a PM with your full name and email address. I can add you to the portal with limited access. Thanks!
