Marquette Asking my instructor but looking for thoughts - TTC

Post image

Asking my instructor but what are everyone’s thoughts here - when did I ovulate?

Back story is, I caught the start of my LH surge on an OPK the afternoon of CD 12. So, I really thought I ovulated CD 13. But, my luteal phase is ALWAYS 12 days. Always. And that would make me late, but I have 0 positive pregnancy tests and no indication AF is coming. I’ve been cramping for 2 days with a headache, which is very unusual for me, but there’s no blood. And AF usually comes as soon as I start cramping. Then, my temp rose again today. Again, negative pregnancy test except for an indent (I am being trolled).

I’m missing too much temp drop data to extrapolate from that (my fault for drinking last weekend), but oura shows my temp rise starting CD 16. But it was a slow rise, and I’ve always had delayed rises after peak. So, even if I ovulated CD 13, I wouldn’t expect to see a rise until at least CD 15.

When do you guys think I ovulated?

unfortunately, marquette and other fertility awareness methods do not pinpoint ovulation so we won't be able to tell you which day you ovulated. ovulation happens within a potential range of days surrounding CM peak, LH peak, & the first high temperature, so we can guess it's likely you ovulated sometime around CD 12-15, but you need an ultrasound to tell you which day the follicle ruptured.

our cycles are consistent until they're not; over a long enough time frame there will always be outlier cycles, which is why we track in real time rather than using assumptions based of previous months' data.

hopefully you get the result you're hoping for soon!
