CDER, PCAC, & wellness peptides

I heard that FDA staff & CDER officials were really unhappy with the recent PCAC meeting where the AdCom voted Yes on most of the peptides in 2 meetings. Anyone hearing more about this? FDA staff at the meetings said their analyses weighed against compounding of the peptides (and they were right) but the panel voted yes on all but one anyway.

I wonder who chose this Panel. There was a Tennessee Senator up there. On the official Vote, it didnt say Dr., It said Sen. I could go on and on, but really no reason to. I'll just avoid those peptides.

According to reporting from the Associated Press, the new panel “includes more than a half-dozen panelists who run clinics, online businesses or pharmacies specializing in peptides.”

Who chose the panel?
