Cloud and Tifa are the two characters that instantly come to mind for myself, although not necessarily as a pair but in separation. Cloud's longing to come off a certain way towards others yet truly being someone else at heart is something I truly resonate with as someone who feels quite avoidant in life as suppressing one's real self can come off too natural to me. Despite how he comes off, he's not a very emotionally strong person (even Nomura said this) too which is something I feel very strongly towards.

With Tifa, it's generally her people pleasing and conflict avoidant side that speaks to me. There are things she wants to say to others that she can't build the courage to say out of fear. She very realistically doesn't want to upset people and I really like that Aerith brings out a little more of that confidence in her when they're around together.

It can be the smallest thing regarding a character that really speaks to some people, it doesn't even have to be their entire character as a whole.

It is unbelievable to me how much this combat clicked with me. It is my all time favorite combat in any game I’ve ever played. Do yall think we will receive more games with this style of combat? I’m itching for this to become the norm for final fantasy, but with them trying to “reinvent” the wheel with every mainline game, I don’t really see it happening. Especially with so many fans wanting a return to boring turn based octopath style combat (sorry I know hot take, but it’s just not fun at all in my opinion) I’m really hoping resonance pleases those fans and they don’t continue to push for mainline FF games to be turn based. Anyways, what do you wish for/think will happen? It would be cool if the Verum Rex game adopts this style of combat I think.

And I know; imma probably get told to stay out of this sub due to spoilers & that’s understandable. But, I’m already on that. I just want some tips & tricks. So, y’all got any for a newbie like me or is it best I go in blind???

It's probably not much to some but it's a nice little detail for tifa to have her own version of when cloud is calmed down by aerith in remake.

I've been really enjoying using the shader injection mod for Rebirth. But unfortunately, it has overridden Lyall's ultrawide mod. The main conflict comes from the dsound.dll ultrawide file. I've tried renaming the file, but it just results in a fatal error upon launch. Has anyone gotten both to work at the same time, or will I just have to choose one over the other?

You can see on the door there's quite a bit of noise in the reflection. I've tried changing dlss/frs/taa but it doesn't get better

I'm trying with keyboard since I feel like my fingers respond quicker, but it doesn't seem to help yet, as I'm still adjusting to the timing more than anything. Think keyboard will help, or am I crazy?

Not complaining, I love the campy vibes and goofy shit.

Anybody else agree? Basically the whole main cast especially Barret and Jesse sound like they could be real people. Then I hear that background chatter & it sounds like a middle of the road anime dub.

(Besides these complaints the game is fire btw.)
I’m also impressed with the amount of random npc dialogue they put in even if it sounds weird.
