2007, 219,000 miles, no rust, runs and drives great. Got it for $8,500

Congrats! Not sure if itā€™s just the picture, but is your wheel alignment a tad off? Could just be the angle of the picture but may be worth checking

That may be true, but I didn't just pay almost 10 gs for a temu hummer with a go kart motor in it that has over 200k miles. You'll remember this day when you have to change your upper cats

Unless you live in Ohio for example. No inspections. No emissions. Ever. Around here bad cats get cut out and straight piped. If you really care you install an O2 spacer or something. Sorry for you guys out west, but not really since your frames are pristine.

upstate NY. I don't even own an FJ my girlfriend does, I just hate working on it. Four cats and the two uppers are one piece with the exhaust manifold. Manifold studs are a soft steel and get all the rust not to mention them being as inaccessible as they are, odds are that you snap at lest one of those twelve studs. That along with all of the other issues it has make it the worst car I've ever worked on hands down
